He is one of the most stoic American Patriots I’ve ever met. Wildly passionate, devoted, and faithful to this country. Extremely intelligent, witty. Empathetic. He absorbed any information he could from anywhere and then considered and made his own decisions and judgement.
Michael was the proud owner of giant brass balls. While many of us attempt to remain somewhat anonymous on the interwebs, he raised a flag and said, “here’s me! This is my name! This is where I live! These are my beliefs! Come and take it...”
Respect.
I’m happy to have had my phone calls with him. We started out gently, sniffing each others’ butts, to establish bona fides. I guess we both checked out because we talked more over time. About life, the universe and everything.
When you meet someone as intelligent and intellectually forceful as Michael, with such a quick wit, take note. You won’t find them often.
Bags, I’ve shed my tears hearing about our loss. Don’t bust on me, it’ll only happen once. I will not mourn your death, rather I celebrate your life and contributions here on this world.
