Pollak: House Should Open Impeachment Investigation into Biden for Bribery
Breitbart ^ | 6/09/23 | Joel B. Pollak

The U.S. House of Representatives should immediately vote to approve an impeachment investigation into President Joe Biden on suspicion of bribery in the wake of new evidence emerging from the FBI’s 1023 form.

That document, handed over to Congress only after the House Oversight Committee threatened to charge FBI Director Christopher Wray with contempt, reportedly describes a $5 million foreign scheme to bribe Biden.

As I wrote in March, there were already amble grounds to investigate Biden for bribery - one of only two crimes specifically mentioned in the Constitution as grounds for impeachment and removal from office.

At that time, the House Oversight Committee had just revealed that the Biden family received $3 million from a company controlled by the Chinese Communist Party. There was no clear business purpose, nor goods traded.

That came on top of suspicions - first raised within the Obama administration itself - that there were conflicts of interest in allowing Biden run Ukraine policy while his son, Hunter, was paid by a corrupt Ukrainian firm.

And it came after revelations - suppressed by Silicon Valley and the mainstream media, but nonetheless damning - that Joe Biden had been part of a corrupt joint venture with a Chinese firm after leaving office.

The Department of Justice had slow-walked allegations against Biden and his family; Attorney General Merrick Garland refused to appoint a special counsel; and the mainstream media showed little interest in the facts.

Should. Won’t. Americans sit idly by while Trump gets taken out.

McCarthy must do this simply to have an opposition narrative running against the Trump indictment.

The Republicans in the House need to show the actual facts against Biden so they can stand in contrast to the evidence that Biden's DoJ is using to indict President Trump.

Even if the House never gets to an actual vote on impeachment itself, they need to use the process to expose the details of the potential charges against Biden.

The problem is that Republican leadership just doesn't think this way.

GOP and RINOs would say opening an investigation or an impeachment involving a political rival would be ungentlemanly and harsh. Such biased things will never happen in this country where the rule of law is always followed. /S

Somebody, anybody with insider influence should open that investigation. It should have started weeks ago.
Republican heels are still being dragged.

Can a President be impeached for something he did before he became President?

Of course Biden probably continued to receive bribe money after 1/20/2021, but the DOJ can probably prevent Congress from ever getting hold of the evidence.

Not only bribery, but the Democratic Party’s favor crime......obstruction of justice. Obstructing Ukrainian justice, and interfering with the lawful prosecution of Hunter Biden, and Joe Biden. Yes, impeach him.

Perhaps an initial start would be to see if Joe Biden still has a valid bar admission and get him disbarred to publicly embarrass him as a campaign issue.

They expect us to vote for them in November of 24.

Really, we should vote for them because why?

They burned us in 2020 and now again and what lies will McCarthy tell again.

Screw you GOP!

.
They Love old Joe Biden.

It will never happen.

Every time they find that they lied and setup Trump, or took over Twitter and posted disinformation for Biden - they ship the agencies huge need influxes of money.

1). They Love Joe.

2). They believe they benefit from the Deep State.

McCarthy didn’t want possession of the Biden Bribe Docs. Why would that be?

I remember when they finally had the Benghazi Hearings in the Senate. People were shocked that the Republicans used over half their time telling Hillary how they admired her, and praised her for her “service.”

It’s the same thing here, there’s a huge gulf between what the GOP base feels about Joe and his source of wealth - and what the Elected Republicans think of Middle Class Joe.

That document, handed over to Congress...

Ummm...if it was handed over why did people have to view it in a SCIF? Is bringing it to a SCIF on the Hill handing something over to Congress? How about showing it to the public?

Has it been turned over since they viewed it? Have the redactions been removed from an unclassified document and released by a person in Congress?

If not, this piece is poor reporting.

Rep. James Comer to review FBI’s Biden bribery tip file next week

“Chairman Comer will receive a briefing from the FBI and review the document on Monday,” an Oversight Committee spokesperson said, adding that “anything short of producing the FD-1023 form to the House Oversight Committee is not [in] compliance with his subpoena.”
Snip...“This unclassified record contains pages of details that need to be investigated further by the House Oversight Committee,” the spokesperson also said.

What are they going to do? Step in the SCIF, read a few lines, walk out and try to recite them verbatim if the 1023 can't leave the SCIF?

The tell on themselves.

If they believed the things they say before Cameras, then there is no defense to protecting Joe.

Impeachment, recusal, Raids, Prosecution, FISA Surveillance - are all Democrat Weapons.
