Most folks in the “intelligence community” have no clue about UFOs—so there is nothing for them to hide.

I am convinced the “Majestic 12” or similar organization has been keeping the secrets, recovering the craft etal—and they are senior folks from different parts of government, private contractors, scientists etc.
They may use highly compartmentalized “teams” from the CIA and other agencies to perform a variety of tasks—but imho 99% of the CIA employees are out of the loop.
There are also witness claims that there is a secret space program that is run by corporations.

I think the conspiracy theories about things that to exist, also presented without evidence are worse than the intelligence folks - those that know - keeping what they know about “UFOs” out of the public, for now.
There is only one way they will have to “come clean”. And that will be when a big UFO incident is so massively public, in multiple countries at near the same time.
