GPS, when I first encountered it, was a 2.5' square by 1' tall box. Now it's in a cell phone. Just something to think about.

I got that sense as well. Sometimes when you see fictional news reports that interview “experts” you can tell the dialog is scripted. Sorta like that “mermaids are real” documentary that fooled a bunch of people a few years ago. Something about the interview just seemed too polished or rehearsed.

Now a bunch of other news sites are running with it and a lot of people seem to be buying it. So I’m not sure of what to think about it. Guess I’ll wait to see if anything plays out.

Of course it’s no whale. It’s a demonstration of what technology can do now. At this point, it’s years old; they’re probably much better at this stuff now.

I used to know a doctor who had been in the Navy in the 1960s, and we had a talk about UFOs many years ago. He said that when he was at sea, he had seen some things done with lasers that even back then were amazing to him.

It is a video of a whale, but the video of the whale was not at the gym. The studio that put together this advertisement spliced two different videos together to give the illusion of a capability of showing a whale splashing down in a gym.

If you had been there that day, you would have seen what the kids saw, nothing. :)

I understand what augmented reality is. I’ve seen the videos of the technology in Japan, where they have a cat that seemingly reaches out in the street.

I’m just telling you that the whale video in particular was done through movie magic. The kids didn’t see anything that day. They were probably told to express surprise on a signal and then the studio spliced two different videos together to give the illusion the kids saw the whale and its splashdown. It was well done.

When I first saw the video as well, I thought it was real. It was only after I did my research did I find that it was all movie magic.

They probably do have them, but I think they are only extra-terrestrial in the sense that they are not of this world. I think the ET aspect is just demonic deception.

Mermaids: The Body Found that was it. They called it a “mockumentary”. This interview felt similar to the interviews of experts in those mockumentaries. I’m not saying this guy’s fake. But the interview just had that kind of feel to me.

It’s a promotional video of tech that’s being worked on. I have no doubt that some ‘interests’ are further ahead on it than this one was at the time.
