Pacifico is my go-to lighter beer. But I’m far less of a beer drinker now than I was in the Glory Days.
My son works at a glass plant. Anheuser Busch is and has been their biggest customer for as long as I can remember [my husband worked there before retiring]. When my son was at our house the other day, I asked if this Bud Lite boycott was having an effect at work? He told me they have 2 machines shut down [those 2 machines make strictly A-H bottles] and then he started rattling off a bunch of other glass plant names who also have at least 2 of their machines shut down due to this boycott. So yes, I think things are a lot worse than the company is letting on.

My favorite Mexican beer is Superior period but it is pretty hard to find in the US. Pretty common in Mexico, at least as of 15 years ago. Similar to Pacifico, tastier, IMO
I agree. I’ve been to Mexico 5-6 times, mostly all in Baja in the Los Cabos area. Superior is a worthy entry.
They should switch to the much needed baby formula.
It is an apparent fact that Bud Lite sales have fallen on average 20-22%
What means is that sales still exist at the 80% level.
Corona and Modelo are distributed by a different company in the US…long term agreement before AB bought the Modelo brewery.
On an episode of the old Avengers show I saw the other day Steed was holding a small launcher in one hand and a shotgun in the other and shooting skeet alone. He was somehow working the launcher with one hand The launcher was exactly 12 oz can size and damn if he or Emma, who had joined him, didn’t somehow get a can of beer in in there and blow it away. “I just shot my lunch”
I laughed thinking of Budweiser and how those launchers would sell today if they are a real thing. The episode was circa 1966, England.
It might can be saved if Enbev split off AB and sold it to someone like Toby Keith. Enbev takes the blame, Toby saves the name.
It bears repeating: in a boycott the customers return once the issue is resolved. In a brand change they don’t.
The brand is gone. All they can do is develop a new one - and hope.

I bought it once. When I realized there wasn’t even 12 oz in the bottle, I gave the rest away. I liked the beer, but not being fleeced.
When I pointed out the less than 12 oz volume to a low information asshat commie, he went nuts.

Well, Toby has some experience of his own with boycotts from Americans who disapproved of his “No Guns” policy in his restaurants. He’s just another rich effing commie.
We gotta get those numbers up.
25 percent loss of sales isn’t gonna cut it.
And stop buying all their other brands.

BUD is down about 12%... InBev NV is down about 7%.
