Will We Wake Up When We’re Hungry?

It’s safe to say that at no time in human history have more people been better fed than are in our current era. So of course the left has to make sure that doesn’t continue.

John Kerry, the man who has almost perfected the art of looking down his nose at the commoners so very far beneath him, told a group of co-elitists at a recent climate summit that, in the words of a Reuters reporter, “cutting greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural production is essential to the global fight against climate change.”

In Kerry’s own words, he claimed “we can’t get to net zero, we don’t get this job done, unless agriculture is front and center as part of the solution.”

The special presidential envoy for climate, a job he is perfectly suited for as it requires no accomplishments, only a membership in a “select group of human beings” and an enormously inflated sense of self, then confused matters by declaring that “a 2-degree future could result in another 600 million people not getting enough to eat.”

“You can’t continue to warm the planet while also expecting to feed it.”

So let’s see if we have this right: The way to feed more people is to slash agriculture production?

The eco-zealots who have stoked the climate scare aren’t open to genetically modified farming, which can increase the yields of some crop varieties by a factor of 10. Kerry and the climate cabal are simply not interested in any sort of innovation that would boost not only crop harvests but the nutrition density of our foods.

What, then, is their solution for feeding the masses while at the same time lowering greenhouse gas emissions? Of course – we must reduce food consumption and when eating is absolutely necessary, gobble up some bugs. The climatistas are focused on a forced austerity.

I doubt that these climate change hoaxters see austerity in their own futures.

Go ahead mr.kerry, tell them to eat cakes. History will one day place you in the same category as marie antoinette. Keep your head and keep in mind that the starving french weren’t armed with modern weaponry. Say...maybe THAT’S the reason you folks on the left want the rest of us disarmed? So we can’t say NO?

Next time you’re in Costco or a supermarket, look around and take it in: this bounty, this source of plenty that is available to everyone in our culture, is going to be a thing of the past. People will speak in hushed tones about the time when we could find fresh milk, meat and produce in quantities that provided enough for all at affordable prices. In the near future, there won’t be enough, and what there is will be too expensive for many. We’re going to find out what real hunger is. And it will be because we threw it all away, thinking we could do better. When the mistake is realized, it will be too late. The pain, deprivation and suffering will be a choice that was made freely, with the ability, but not the inclination, to have known better.

Warmer planet means more plant growth. CO helps the plants.
Tell me again what is the problem?🧐

What I notice about large supermarket chains and big-box stores like Costco is that the best deals are found with the foods that are the least healthy for you. These tend to be the heavily processed foods with tons of added sugar, salt and other preservatives.

Tomato sauce is a good example. The big brands are loaded with extra ingredients and with a lot of sugar. They also tend to be much cheaper. But you can get cans of crushed tomatoes with nothing at all added and make your own sauce at home with a little tomato paste, sea salt, fresh chopped garlic, onion, and other seasonings of your choice (and in quantities you can control). This sauce tastes much better too and only takes a little extra time to make.

John Heinz Kerry, who served in Vietnam by the way, will make billions selling ketchup to cover the bad taste of insects.

An increase in temperature would increase Growing Degree Days , thus increased crop production. More CO2 means more crop production. Both would improve the environment .
But John Kerry says “confiscating farm land is not off the table”.
What is a reasonable rational person to conclude?

I could lose a couple of pounds. But I would really rather do a little Keto instead of Venezuela.

Nope! They are blinded by the god of this world, and their hatred towards anything good and honorable. They are like the Muslim terrorists who blow themselves up for the sake of the seven virgins that are awaiting them in the afterlife. Life has no meaning whatsoever to them, there is no God there is no Creator of the universe they themselves are their own gods. They wanna dictate to all the human race what to eat what to grow even if it means eating bugs or starvation they don’t care. But they’ll soon find out the hard way one way or the other what Third World hunger feels like. And for the “aristocRATic crookery” clan like in the movie, Soylent Green, they will have plenty to eat while they starve the massive population into their graves. You see, that is their plan. The aristocRATic crookery clan is using the useful idiots of climate change to do their bidding. Don’t never underestimate the stupid human race! God help us because no one else will!

But, cutting production of rice and eliminating fertilizer in the name of cutting emissions will also cut production.
