Harley Davidson death by Budweiser can!
Harley Davidson and Budweiser decide to partner together for a beer can. This is a great idea if you want to tank your stock value. I am rethinking my channel and the brands I support, Harley Davidson will feel this in their stock value.

HD will put playing cards on their wheels in order to make noise like we used to do on our bicycles when we were kids.
LOL! But this is the 21st century, they will do it electronically. That fakery alone will drive traditional Harley buyers away from the brand forever.
“I think for the most, part younger people are into cell phones more than motorcycles. Most of us riders, I notice, are now gray heads.”
18 posts before anyone gets it. Bravo sir.
Yep Harley Davidson’s problem, along with the rest of the industry is Demographics.
HD has had a problem with an aging clientele for at least 20-25 years and now the others have the same problem. Simply because we ain’t getting the kids any more.
I think a lot of the blame can be placed on the Automobile Superstore approach we see today.
No 12-15 year old kid is going to walk into such a place and be able to ask a salesman or partsman or mechanic silly stupid questions as I was able to oh so many years ago.
Family members in public education tell me that many of their high school students are more interested and excited about getting a tattoo than a drivers license or their first car - motorcycle.
Cars, even used ones, are wayyyy too expensive for young people these days. Plus, there is something called Uber.
Is it true that with this spiral HD will change the brand name to Hardly-Davvieson, the woke bikie??????
I’ve noticed that if you see a Harley it’s being driven by an older man. I suspect that the demographic Harley appeals to is aging out. To move their market into a younger demographic they probably hired some marketing people, who are of course college graduates. College graduates are by-and-large liberal and probably have as much understanding of the Harley brand as the young female VP at Bush who came up with the present debacle. College graduates see the world through a special liberalizing lens. This means they see a world populated by people like them. (Thus, the upcoming electric bike.)
It is really about capturing kids when they become adults and start spending. There is a long list of brands dying because Gen Z is ignoring them. NASCAR, Budweiser, Harley, NHRA, Pizza Hut, numerous retailers, etc. This generation is not being influenced by real things they can see, smell and touch; like falling in love with racing and the smell of ethanol. Gen Z is synthetic. Influenced by what they see and hear on their phones. They are the first generation to grow up in the post-truth world.
HD has a much bigger problem than light beer marketing. That 45-degree long-stroke V -twin engine they use was a bad idea fore an engine 100 years ago and they’ve never really changed or upgraded it that much.
It will put and end to the “Born To Be Wild “ association when all that is left are electric Harleys.
Yeah, instead of heading out on the highway looking for adventure, they are home admiring themselves on Tik Tok.
Get your battery chargin’
Head out to the gay bar
Looking for a boyfriend
But you just can’t go very far
Yeah, darlin’ gonna make it happen
Tie your hair in a lovely man bun
Turn in all of your guns at once
And find some gender fluid fun
Born to be mild
Born to be mild
That motorcycle pictured in Post 14 looks like the porcelain you’d see in a bathroom in an Americana hot dog and ice cream joint.
...and all those motorcycles hit the used bike market when their owner is too infirm to ride, their widow doesn't want it, or their heirs already have motorcycles of their own or don't ride.
It doesn't help that Harley Davidson appealed to blue collar workers in industries that have either moved up or out of the United States.
ROLF!
Those are the two big bikes I have ridden for the last 30 years. Better than Harleys and not paying a huge premium for the name. My son, however has only ridden Harleys.
Indian still makes motorcycles that look like motorcycles. Just sayin'
If they are into bikes, most prefer crotch rockets over HD. Also, crotch rockets are more affordable compared to the overpriced HD.
We all know HD makes a lot of money selling HD branded stuff. Another moneymaker for most HD dealerships is their exorbitant add on fees and expenses when buying a bike new or used. This may not be true for all HD dealerships but I'm guessing when buying a HD franchise, owners learn about and many embrace how to add on exorbitant fees and expenses.
I like HD bikes, but their cost to buy and maintain is just not worth it. I like motorchycles, not an image - which is what HD has been selling for years at a premium.
“Veteran Biker” who claims to have such an influence on the world that he can sink stock prices at will, had forgotten that Harley Davidson had never met a flat surface it didn’t want its logo emblazoned upon.
Guess they don’t know the stars go at the top of the flag.
