In a startling example of cultural imperialism, coffee colossus Starbucks is promoting transsexualism in India, with a slickly-produced 2-minute video ad.
In the ad, we see a father sitting in a Starbucks making a cellphone call to his son, whose clearly male face appears as he calls, but with no answer. His wife counsels him to not be angry this time. In seconds, we see an attractive female version of the son entering the store, embracing his mother, and then awkwardly approaching the father, but with no embrace, just touching the old man on his back. As they sit, affecting music plays and he thanks his father for meeting him, and remarks that it’s been years since they have seen each other, “…but you still mean the world to me.”
The father softens, stands up and suggests, “Coffee?” and walks up to the counter to order. Soon, the barrista announces the family name and all is well, the family healed. Starbucks: softening the heart of a parent upset that his son has been pretending to be a woman for years.

“Gee, I am just estatic now that my son has come out as a gay trans woman!” Said no father ever.
Non-Native American Indians are pouring into America like it’s the last place on the planet to live. Here in Texas, they have even begun sending their wives out to panhandle at Walmart parking lots and intersections. It didn’t take them long to start that crap. It won’t be long until their phishing expedition phone calls start.
Another reason to hate Starbucks, in addition to the crappy coffee I mean.
I guess my thought on this is that if it’s a matter of family reconciliation, regardless of the son’s horrible choice, that’s a good thing. I don’t see anything that shows the father accepting the son’s choice.
This is surprising news for me, because I didn’t think any normal people went to Starbucks. Unless they were trying to stay awake while they stand in line to buy Bud Light.
*if it’s a matter of family reconciliation, regardless of the son’s horrible choice, that’s a good thing. *
Very good jag.
*I don’t see anything that shows the father accepting the son’s choice.*
That’s the idea. Heading in that direction but ‘not accepting’. You know he will in the end.
Notice how the father is a hunk and the son looks like a hottie. Only the loving mother looks frumpy. She’s the hero. Hate to disappoint you folks but I think it was done very well. Lotta Moozlems in that country so give them credit for being groundbreaking. Fewer thrown off the roof.
Going insane? Mostly just us, the other English speaking countries, and parts of Western Europe. The rest of humanity, if they’re noticing, are looking on in a combination of amusement and some horror.
The Dunkin’s in our area don’t have bathrooms. I’d be a weekly customer if they did.
I’m fine with a “customers only” policy, but, you have to have a bathroom.
Starbucks still doesn’t get my business, though, and has not for many years. First them they went woke, they lost me, and I was a supporter before that.
