The higher-ups in the national sorority insisted that the local chapter admit her. The leadership of the locals agreed with the nationals. Subsequently, there was supposed to be a vote about this with the local leadership putting "the screws" to its members. This included requiring email addresses on all ballots. Those voting against the 6'2" biological male were ostracized by others and are suing the sorority.
The hold-outs were interviewed by Megyn Kelly on her last podcast. It was a very impressive group of articulate women.
