It is a matter of costs.

Netflix began selling other companies productions. Presently much, perhaps most of what they offer is their own productions. The cost on self produced new material is much greater than selling the work of others.

Then there is the negro/queer presence that pervdes almost all redN programming. Rates have risen to the breaking point.

Netflix can’t make a profit doing what they want. Their time has come because they can’t continue along the want to path because every body and their brother in law has entered the business as serious competition
