A former special education teacher at Española Valley High School pleaded no contest in state District Court in Tierra Amarilla to three charges stemming from an incident in which she was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage student.
Makana Masacayan, 26, was arrested in June of last year and initially was charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual penetration, fourth-degree criminal sexual contact of a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and enticement of a child.
----------
Masacayan appeared in court wearing a mask and stood next to her attorney, Dorie Biagianti Smith, while entering her plea. She accepted a plea deal under which the rape charge was dismissed, and she was sentenced to three years of supervised probation on the remaining counts.
During the hearing, Biagianti Smith said that her client plans to return to her native Philippines as soon as possible since her work visa was revoked after she was criminally charged.
The attorney added that Santa Fe County Magistrate Court took possession of Masacayan’s passport, which has prevented her from moving back to the Philippines.

So what’s the deal? Why so many stories like this in recent years?
1. Is it because these teachers are cases of arrested development, think they are still students in school even though they are teachers?
2. Is the social climate somewhat to blame? This 26 year old grew up after the sexual revolution, in a time when it’s considered ok to have sex with any number of partners, any sex of partners, so these teachers really see nothing wrong with what they are doing?
3. is it because they just don’t have boundaries of any kind, with students? I’ve heard of other cases, not sexual, but other cases, in which teachers are just too friendly with students, see them outside of class, etc. and they don’t maintain professional distance.
Because they think that it is OK and the age of consent should be abolished.
I read the article and nowhere did it say what actually happened.
Something strange is afoot. I have a feeling that if this chick had been a tranny, there would have been no charges.
There are two tiers of justice. All I am pointing out is that hetero sex crimes are on the severe tier and perverted sex crimes are on the lenient tier.
But beyond that, the whole thing is weird. First, its hetero, second the “crime” is never mentioned (so people don’t have a lot to get riled about, no real questions to ask), the perp is a foreigner, no family here and going back to Philippines ASAP, the minor is never named. This whole thing will be vapor in a couple months.
Ok, Tinfoil - Off
That’s special education alright!
Not Guilty!
So they don’t even say if the student was a girl or a boy. The age, or action. Woke journalism.
“This behavior is not only a violation of law, it goes against the fundamental values of our schools and our society,” the statement read.
Who does she think she is, a drag queen artist?
Financial.
Parents discovered they can sue the school district for six and seven figure settlements.
Because their poor son - who spent hours every week having sexual fantasies about this woman - was sexually abused when she allowed his fantasies to come true.
The poor teenage boy will need years of therapy to recover from this desecration!
Just like a certain warmongering pedophilic false prophet of a pagan Arabian moon deity.
Poor girl. It is just so hard for 20 something year old women to find a man willing to have sex with them these days.
I’ve not seen any evidence parents have sued anyone. You have?
The article says: .......and initially was charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual penetration.
“Makana Masacayan, 26, was arrested in June of last year and initially was charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual penetration.” PENETRATION?! Sounds (and looks) like that’s a trans who still has all his tackle! Should get mandatory castration....AND what the great El Rushbo called a “Chopadickoffome”.
Please tell me that’s not a man.
Now days...you just can’t be sure.
From another article...
“This all came to light when a 16-year-old student at the high school told his probation officer about his relationship with Masacayan.”
For those of you unfamiliar with New Mexico, the town of Espanola has its own genre of jokes.
Pretty much, yeah.
