I have learned that plain old Dial soap, just a bar of soap, does as well and perhaps better than the Gillete foam I have been using for decades.

Wet it real good and then drag it around over where you shave.

No thanks. Dial soap is what they issued us in USMC boot camp.
Even fifty years later, every time I smell it I flash back to Parris Island. Ugh.
