(Sorry left this part out)
I related the story to my wife over lunch today. She looked downcast. She commented to me: “After all this time, we’ve actually regressed. Women are losing their rights to men.” She continued, “If you ran into a woman in the men’s room, you might be surprised, but you wouldn’t feel threatened. If I came out of a stall in a women’s room and saw that man, I’d be scared.” She continued: “There are no places left that are strictly for us to have our privacy. No public restrooms, locker rooms, or fitting rooms are ours anymore.”
Eliminate shared restrooms entirely. Make every public toilet a self-contained unit with its own sink and a door that can be locked from the inside. No common sinks, no gender segregation, etc. Problem solved.
The women insisted on barging in men’s places and jobs even though they weren’t qualified. Be it firemen, masons, truck loaders, Rangers, etc. They want the same pay but can’t do all the job. The remaining men have to do double the share of the more difficult or hazardous part. They are getting what they asked for.
Women in leadership positions have failed women. Feminism has failed. Women are now second class citizens. They wanted to compete with men and now we see that this is a losing game for them.
If I really have to go, I use the women’s restroom if it is unoccupied. I’ve been doing that for years.

I work with risk averse companies where they control access to the ladies' room in particular by a combination lock on the door or by key. It's an issue with visitors at meetings but it works.
Some of these companies are mandated to lock the door to the ladies' room by the landlord who also doesn't want to get dragged into a lawsuit by an assault victim.
These companies aren't even dealing with public-facing bathrooms. They're in buildings where you already have to get past a security desk and the bathrooms are separated by tenant, not communal.
I have a small restaurant with 3 bathrooms. Sometimes the women’s is the only one open
They are all the same.
