VLADIMIR Putin rushed through a speech in Moscow's Red Square today to open a diminished parade marking Russia's victory in World War II.
Far fewer troops and a solitary rusting tank dating from the war were on display amid tight security after a suspected assassination attempt on the tyrant.
-snip-
A solitary WWII vintage commemorative T-34 was the only tank that took part and instead of usual show of armoured might, it was followed by just 10 armoured jeeps.
The usual flypast over Moscow and other cities was cancelled again, after a lack of trained pilots grounded it last year.

Not as many red flags with Soviet hammer & sickle as last year...
Yeah, they’re all being used by Western “democracies”.
Belarus doesn’t have worry about being invaded by Russia...
Ah the Sun……Where’s the rust? I don’t see rust… The propaganda summary: Putin Is sad because the Russians are down to one rusty T34 due to brilliant cokebead/tactician Zelensky having destroyed the Russian army. Factual summary; The T34 is revered as the symbol that defeated Nazi 1.0 -Its the T90 breakthrough tanks that are at the front defeating Nazi 2.0.
So, we don’t have to give Ukraine money and military aid anymore, right?
“actual summary; The T34 is revered as the symbol that defeated Nazi 1.0 -Its the T90 breakthrough tanks that are at the front defeating Nazi 2.0.”
The facts are that the Russians are clearly in trouble. They have thousands of tanks left - but they are in storage and don’t work. They’re not ready for battle. They’ve lost so many tanks in the last 15 months that they can’t put the best armor on display in the most important parade of the year. They didn’t have enough planes or pilots for the usual flyover. Do you not see how that’s a problem for the supposedly number 2 military in the world?
