Is anyone gonna watch? This is something that you may only get to see one time in your life.
Most networks are going to start the telecast at about 5am Eastern time. PBS will start much earlier, simulcasting the BBC.
Amen.
Those Brits sure can do pomp and ceremony.
I thought it was poetic that Prince Anne’s formal headgear’s plume blocked Prince Harry’s face!
Karma!
I am loving it. I was concerned about some aspects, and my concerns were for naught. I’m American of the USA, but I love all this tradition.
No doubt.
How very Cool that was at the end.👍
Princess Anne, Charles' sister. She was on horseback leading the procession back to Buckingham Palace.
How do I type King Charles the third? Three lower case l’s or upper case I’s?
‘Is anyone gonna watch?’
I would, but the thought of listening to Ainsley Earhart blathering on about the clothing and their designers is too muh to bear...
I watched it and you hit it on the head. What was remarkable was watching a Muslim, a Jew, a seikh, and a Hindu bow and kneel in front of the Bible. God uses imperfection to perfectly illustrate His kingdom and in this case we witnessed the truism that every knee shall bow at the name of Jesus.
To see this doofus and his crown are the laugh of the day. What a waste of 125 million. You would think it was the second coming.
My mother was born and raised in Manchester and came to the US in 1950 to marry my father. We then moved to England in 1957 when my dad was stationed outside London (Northolt). We were there for 5 yrs and I watched Princess Margaret’s marriage to Anthony Snowden in 1960 on the telly. I’ve always been an Anglophile and I watched this momentous occasion today. Nobody does pageantry like the English.
‘Give her five points for balancing the crown during her curtsy to Charles.’
what does she do next...? count to twenty with her foot...?
I’m happy he’s with Camilla as he actually has been in love with her- not so much Diana.
Then, Checkmate.
I wanted to like it. It is visually attractive but seemed kind of silly really. Seeing that ass Andrew all decked out and all this reverence for Charles as though he is God is very disturbing. Especially knowing he is going to be a big promoter of the Global warming hogwash very soon.
Almost make ole Meghan look like the lucky one for staying home.
+1👍
I watched the whole thing. History unfolding right before our eyes, and something I will probably not see again in my lifetime. I would have preferred it to be William. I think I have seen every major event of this nature in my life, and I mean the weddings, funerals, and this one coronation. Whatever history was being shown, no matter what country, I watched it.
When I turned on YouTube TV it was defaulted to FOX for whatever reason. I hadn’t watched FOX, or any cable news network in over a decade.
The interruptions reminded me why I don’t watch.😉
Found the BBC coverage to be excellent.
Sure it can be found on YouTube to watch when you get the time.👍
Reports indicate Andrew dressed in his regalia against his brother's wishes.
Wow. You are judgmental in all things to all people. Perhaps you shouldn’t look inward at how to reflect the light and love of Christ as you proclaim. They will know the faithful by love. Do you believe this is what you show?
