That is pretty much where it ends. True or not I can't do anything to verify Nibiru. I shelve it as an interesting story.
For scientific community to out right reject the story shows me they're clearly not scientist. They're political hacks.

I’m leaning toward a brown dwarf in our own system on the long cycle. There is enough evidence in planetary movements that there should be another planet within the system to explain why orbits and periodicity are off. Plus it would match more closely to the “light” and the “dark” motif of a lot of earlier historical finds ... such as Marduk.

A long cycled brown dwarf explains a lot of the same things as the Sirius theory. I just think Sirius is too far distance for the timeframes in question.

Of course it could also be a combination of both...where there is a shorter cycle at 12k years and a longer one of up to 30-40k or so.

Uranus being tilted 98 degrees on the solar plane is what gets me. Something big happened to make that planet spin sideways. The Enuma Elish story makes sense.
