If I had a flagpole in my yard, I would go outside right now and fly the U S flag upside down and I would not take any crap off of anyone that didn’t like the display of our nation’s colors.
According to the U.S. Flag Code, flying the American flag upside down is only meant to be done “as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.”
And the bad news is that it will continue to get even worse. America passed from the "Republic" stage decades ago and the "Empire" stage we have been living in is giving way quickly to the "Decline and Fall" stage.
We're not going to vote our way out of this. It's too late.

Their governments may well be evil and corrupt (I don’t know, I don’t have first hand experience with them) but at least they appear to be comparatively sane on a social level. The United States is evil, corrupt and downright stark-raving-mad. Our society makes mega-city sewers look like the Garden of Eden.

I am doing my part. When I talk to any teenage boy at family/friend gatherings, I tell them, “Whatever you do, don’t joint today’s military”. I know I have personally contributed to 3 young men deciding not to join.
It's not our Navy (or our government) any more, except in the sense that we're forced to pay for it.
This is recruitment for an enemy Navy. They protect the interests of a ruling class that makes money from mass murder, hates freedom, and hates *you*.

The Navy has been Dylan Mulvaneyed and is now a characterization of itself.
This will only embolden our enemies and cause them to accelerate plans to destroy us and our allies, Taiwan.
Transgenders are not accepted in Iran just as they are not accepted here in America. Even with the fatwa Komenei ordered.

I just read C. Vann Woodward’s excellent book on the Battle for Leyte Gulf. He describes serious brave and cool men who fought with their heads and their hearts. The modern U.S. Navy seems to me like it has nothing whatsoever in common with their ancestor.
I do not know about Russia, but I have lived in China. You have to watch what you say about the government but otherwise, they pretty much leave you alone.
Don’t get me wrong, it is not a free place. But, I don’t don’t think it is worse than the US. It is better in some important ways.
