Oh well.
There were literally thousands of car companies in the beginning before eventually things shook out and it went down to about 5.
Stupid concept. Die.
But EVs are our future. There is insatiable consumer demand!
“ one potential buyer that committed to a large number of preorders didn’t appear to have the resources to complete that transaction”
FJB, Post Office and DOD to the rescue!
It would be prudent to short all woke green industries.
How the hell does a company who’s most likely end game was failure from the start and hasn’t sold a single product even get an IPO on a major stock exchange in the first place?
I feel for Lordstown. GM pullout was long time coming but still another fly over town abused and abandoned
Yet one more example of the Youngstown area chasing a PIPE DREAM trying to reinvent themselves. Ever since steel mills closed in 1977 they have chased cars, blimps, mini-mills, etc. all with dismal results. Lots and Lots of wasted government grant money.
YES, they have voted DEMOCRAT for the last 50yrs that I have seen.

When lordstown (no capitals on purpose) was a gm plant, the work crew were awful, quality control was non existent, the workforce was the most militant of any gm plant.
I hated having to work in that plant.
When gm closed that plant I went outside and screamed with joy.
The same workforce infected this new plant.
Just wondering how many dollars in tax abatements were granted and money stolen from Ohio taxpayers for empty promises of jobs that never materialized.
I’m guessing the warranty was gonna be “10 years or bankruptcy...whichever comes first”?
