Note the covert implication in the text that somehow mutilating children is not controversial. It’s the opposition to mutilation that is supposedly controversial. All news reporting is loaded like this.

Oh yeah. Same for abortion. NOT wanting babies to be dismembered & tossed in the garbage is the “controversial” viewpoint.
