“My 28 year old Maytag washer just completely went out and they can't get parts anymore. Pretty sure it is the motor or transmission. It wasn't agitating and something was burning. I am to old to deal with this shit.:-(”

Wow same thing happen to me as I posted a month ago about my Kenmore washing machine over 2 decades went out!

Found a a great guy to repair it with whirlpool parts and finally getting it tomorrow! My cost is only 225.00! Just so nice and he's a veteran that is not too shy in telling me how our new appliances are over priced to only last less the time of our old appliances!
Lauren did me great finding this man! One Day We all need to talk about how our government put us all in a situation to buy new that will only last a fraction of the time as our old things!

Actually I missed typed. Mine was 38 yrs old. I called the place who had done some work on it a few years ago. It needed a new belt. They said they can’t get the parts for them any more except maybe a belt as it is just to old.

I had an old craftsman lawn mower that was a basket case. The Sears repair person said I was better off curing the basket case cause they don’t make ‘em like this anymore.
