Actually I missed typed. Mine was 38 yrs old. I called the place who had done some work on it a few years ago. It needed a new belt. They said they can’t get the parts for them any more except maybe a belt as it is just to old.

I know it a pain,as mine was over 20 Years old ,as was the situation with no longer the parts because mine stopped spinning but,this repairman I was referred to by my daughter went out of his way and found part compatible to work on my washer! He saved me a lot of money and his back and forth to get it done is above and beyond to save me money is completely MAGA NICE!
Very fortunate to know people like this!
They are many out there like us,we just have to connect better with each other!

They made things better back then. I had my old washer for about 25 years. This new one, costing much much more, just feels and sounds flimsy.
