My thoughts: DeSantis seems to be a good Governor, a good husband and a good dad…. but he’s not ready to be President. It’s a shame he was convinced to run now.

I agree. The never Trumpers got to him with money and power. He s/h waited.
Fitch is putting US credit on negative watch. Biden is going to Camp David and Delaware for long weekend instead of working on debt limit.
I disagree with good Governor. In the end, he lied when he ran for his second term, as he knew he wasn’t going to complete it. He then changed two laws to accommodate his duplicity. He let himself run for president without resigning as Governor, and he allowed his travels to be kept secret from his constituents.
Those moves, along with the weasel tell of using Trump to get where he is and then running against him make DeSantis a selfish, ambitious snake. Hopefully he’s a better husband and father.
