#BREAKING Brownsville Police identify 34-year-old George Alvarez from Brownsville as the man who hit and killed 8 people waiting at a Bu stop yesterday—10 others were hit and injured.
Police say Alvarez ran a red light, lost control and flipped on its side.
Alvarez has an “extensive” rap sheet including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon—He is now also facing an additional 10 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and 8 counts of manslaughter—His bail is set at $3.6M.

I saw that on YouTube. Apparently the Texas National Guard have prevented several thousands from crossing before they actually get across.
The DPS guy said there are 29 points of entry, where most come through legally. They can only Patrol areas in between. Abbott says congress working on making it a felony to enter Texas illegally so we can lock them up for years. (At our expense)
