I saw a story posted here on FreeRepublic that said Fox still had Tucker under contract until after the 2024 elections.

I’m guessing that was BS?

No one knows for sure...........Even Tucker has said similar............

If you fire somebody, you’ve terminated their contract.

That would have to be one terrible contract if Fox could take Tucker off the air, and ‘release’ him, but still be able to exercise rights to him. I would like to hope that Tucker never would have signed anything like that.

I don't see how it's possible to be fired and still be under contract.

IIRC, he does have a non-compete in his Fox contract which will force his media silence through the 2024 election. (I’m pretty sure that news is from Steve Bannon, but don’t know if it’s true.)
