Conservative media host and commentator Steven Crowder can be seen on a Ring Camera video berating his wife Hilary, who was at the time nearly eight months pregnant, and demanding that she handle medicine for his dogs that she was concerned was toxic to pregnant women. In the video, he snaps at her to put on her gloves to give his dogs medicine, walk the dogs, and otherwise "perform wifely duties," as she is clearly emotionally distressed.

How do you defend yourself for acting like a hateful ass? Because that was terrible on his part.
I didn’t see her being hateful and I sure could not blame her for wanting to get away from that.
It could very well be.
Honestly a woman should not be afraid of taking the car without permission, unless he needs it at the time. I could be wrong, but I interpreted her words and body language as if she was afraid of him.
Get my fainting couch, they almost raised their voices. Most you folks on this thread don’t know emotional abuse and domestic manipulation for caca!
“it’s ALWAYS about the money.”
For me, it’s more about a peaceful atmosphere in the home than money.
You do that every time and it cracks me up.
You're far worse.
Agreed. I suspect he kept her pretty controlled by having her have to ask permission for the car. I suspect she’d be having to have a good enough reason, in his books. Yes, she seemed afraid of him, and as he admits he has a “volcanic” temper, I dare say she’s seen it more than once. She’s better off. Too bad she didn’t consider this before having his children.
What a creep.
I thought it was a normal marriage fight at first but then he keeps drilling and drilling too deep and working her, and she looked like he has been doing that to her for years.
He doesn’t just argue he wants to control her, shape her, dominate her, and she seemed like she has to struggle to hold onto some ground of her own, it became creepy and she seemed uncomfortable with his mental grooming/shaping form of arguing at her.
I bet she breathes easier when he isn’t around, husbands like this are trying to create a permanent mousy, compliant wife and aren’t healthy for a woman.
Why doesn’t she have a car? Strange! His behavior here is not good at all. I have been married for a long time, and we would never speak to each other this way, no matter how upsetting the situation. He acted like he had nothing but contempt for her. There is no love here. Wow.
That isn’t accurate, but I bet no one is surprised that it is what you keep finding, and will always find.
I do think see her being hateful either. He was an ass.
Crap, one of the few pundits I actually liked. Just goes to show, you can’t trust anyone these days.
You’re wrong.
It’s too bad that you’ve never known a woman who understands and tries to live her life according to Christ’s directive of loving others as she loves herself.
He seemed to be upset about something. She seems upset with him too. They seem to have been battling for a bit.
Divorce isn’t pretty.
Everybody hates crowder
Nope. And you're just pixels on my 32" 4k monitor.
Solution? Claim woman status, at least for the duration of the divorce. Counter the mental abuse crap with how she made you feel unsafe and not secure in your identity, leading to thoughts of suicide. Then laugh afterwards when you see that your bank account isn’t as tapped as you thought it could be.
Video looked like a setup by his wife. She knew how to push his buttons.
You know it really got to me when he started with that game of taking her down by telling her she wasn’t even good for fighting back or standing up for herself.
She was obviously afraid to fight back because she didn’t want to see what escalating it could bring. He was being mean and he knew that. That is how it works.
Even Steven’s remarks yesterday irritate me now because his apparent mental issue came through in that too.
Give this woman a divorce, take care of your kids and get help. I hope he starts no new relationships. Ugh
