Conservative media host and commentator Steven Crowder can be seen on a Ring Camera video berating his wife Hilary, who was at the time nearly eight months pregnant, and demanding that she handle medicine for his dogs that she was concerned was toxic to pregnant women. In the video, he snaps at her to put on her gloves to give his dogs medicine, walk the dogs, and otherwise "perform wifely duties," as she is clearly emotionally distressed.

Conservative or not, video evidence of verbal abuse is more than a clue.
I've seen the same type of abuse from former friends and my only advice to Crowder's wife is to get out now because it only gets worse.

She could have doordash bring her groceries.... again, NOT defending him but my husband and I have set responsibilities and we fulfil them or discuss why we can’t and make appropriate accommodations.
I don’t think I mentioned hunter. But it is a fact, and irrelevant to this discussion.
As an on air personality I like Crowder. He is smart and funny.
That said, he seems to have a control problem as his friendship on set with Landau ended because Crowder wants to be the total control person. His wife appears to have the same issue.
There are many people we watch and like that are jerks in their personal life. I don’t think any person male or female can stand a long term relationship with a controlling person.
I was thinking maybe his heart issue that he had surgery for made him difficult. I guess not. But he has been going through this divorce since 2021 and it should be over by now. Geesh
Maybe money is involved but it appears there is more here because neither says the other was unfaithful.
I wish them the best but they should get this over.
You should see video of wives “snapping” at their husbands. Makes this very tame. Women never think they can get arrested for attacking their husbands, they say they will just lie and say its self defense. Many guy has been saved videotaping the freakshow and threats and admissions they will lie to screw them over, that unfolds in front of them.
That said, I’m glad they aren’t together anymore. Any spouse with major anger control issues isn’t good or safe to be around. Hell, any person, period.

One clip doesn’t mean anything. There is context to consider. There could be other stressors (money, work problems, whatever) that contributed to his short fuse in this instance. People have bad days — and some people’s bad days are worse than others.
Every divorce filing these days, including for normies, includes an allegation of emotional abuse, or claims of yelling, anger, etc, that are alleged to put the wife in fear for her safety or the safety of the children.
Usually, such claims are included as a tactic to get an restraining order issued against the husband to put more pressure on him to settle the divorce quickly and favorably for the wife. They are practically boiler plate.
I have never heard of him.
I used to watch his show quite regularly, he’s very talented, but he showed his control freak nature to me on one of his Oscar shows. He had some beer, guard was down a bit, and he started acting like a jackass. So be it, everyone is flawed.

I would expect that being 8 months pregnant would be a reason to temporarily suspend some of those arrangements.
Nor do I think that giving HIS dogs their meds falls under the housework category.
