“says over 600 doctors wrote & signed a letter to him begging him not to allow them.”

Who is the “him” doctors wrote letters to? Trump? RFK?

When I recall ‘Two weeks to slow the spread ‘, I see Pence and Fauci and Birx onboard, and Trump being dragged to that position by Science..

And goalposts from medicine/science began to move...

And Trump was moving things at speeds to match each new goalpost move by Science.
To make sure their excuses for keeping things closed, got accomplished as quickly as possible..

So the real Pfascist tyrants in medicine, science, and government, had no more goalpost moves to make..

This is a federal republic and President Trump was not a king. It was mostly Democrat—and some Republican—governors and mayors who perpetrated the lockdowns.

Obviously he’s right, Trump issued the order to “stop the spread” based on the best available medical advice.

The mistake was extending it. In retrospect we know all the claims of full hospitals, no vents, etc were all overstated and lies, if he’d opened back up after 2 weeks the damage would have been minimal and sure, more people would have got covid but herd immunity would have occurred much faster. And it’s impossible to know how many would have died vs. the way it happened in reality.

Because the resulting chaos would have been better for the Nation than the slower process of deemphasizing their voices and highlighting their inconsistencies as Trump did?

Trump was left with bare Federal cupboards and with hospitals that were not stocked. He was busy inventing new supply chains and getting cities & states ready for the millions of deaths he was told were coming. If he had not spent his energies in that way and COVID had been as lethal as had been predicted the results would have been catastrophic. In crisis situation triage is the overriding principle. Only retrospectively when the dust settles can people feel empowered to nit pick in a vacuum.

Near as I can tell, RFKJr is running as the anti-Biden. He’s famously very opposed to the mRNA injections, which Biden mandated. I think he’s also aware that while ‘RAT politicians favored the lockdowns, antisocial behavior, and mandates, a majority of Americans opposed them. I’m not sure if he seriously thinks he can obtain the ‘RAT nomination. If their elections were at all honest, Bernie Sanders would have been their 2016 nominee.

The one thing Mike Pence could claim credit for was the COVID work.

It was a spectacular failure, and we continue to rue that day, as do all those people who lost jobs and investments, and family members who died without visitors being allowed.

Heck, even I was banned from seeing a relative who went to the hospital, and the relative had a non-COVID problem and I didn't have COVID symptoms.

The virus mutated quickly away, yet they kept shoving the same formulation into people, nearly two years later. We knew vaccines against such viruses couldn't really work. We don't use a prior year's flu vaccine, for a reason.

We still don't have a common cold vaccine, but these idiots would claim they did and make us all get it, or not work or go anywhere. They would again shut down courts so no one could sue against the unlawful edicts, such as being called an “unessential business” or an “unessential church service.”

I have nearly zero trust in so much around the government and medical handling of COVID, and I'm shocked at myself for thinking mere humans could handle this well.

After watching the deaths accrue in Democrat-run cities and states, when they forced elder nursing homes to infect residents with young, sometimes violent people who were known to be infected and in need of care, I was saddened to see how far evil could successfully reign, unchecked.

Yeah, and when Bill Gates calls out Sars-Cov-2 as being “nothing more than a flu,” you realize the whole vaccine and shutdown nonsense was a grand FU to Trump and countries around the world, and it worked, to finally knock Trump out of the election.

The economy had been great, and the chaos ushered in Biden.

So, Pence and the Democrats and the Fauci supporters screwed us all over.

At least Bill Gates admits it was really for nothing, now, and that's about all pro-Fauci people can hang their hats on that is not a lie, it seems.

RFK doesn’t realize how far the US had already been pulled over the ‘foreign control’ ledge at that point. Half the country was indoctrinated to believe ‘We’re all gonna die!” and Pelosi was signalling the UN to ‘intervene’ to save us by looking into the cameras and saying, “President Trump is trying to murder Americans”. So much going on not taken into account.
Trump went on the air and repeatedly said we simply have to open up the country for businsess, and the MSM/CCP types coutnered with “he’s out of touch, doesn’t know how to handle the pandemic, putting lives at risk, the country needs leadership!”
Multiple formal and informal coup attempts all circling at once trying to portray President Trump as a national security threat that must be addressed by the international community. That’s why Nancy Pelosi had that weird little ‘climate change’ junket to the UN. Nations can ‘privately and confidentially’ petition the UN to intervene at the request of petitioners (”Halp protect us from Trump!”) and Nancy certainly did her best to portray herself and her team as a formal delegation from the US.

I like RFK Jr., but he’s over simplifying here.

‘He could have fired the scarf and fauxchi though’

he could also have refrained from trashing Kemp of GA for being the first to open things up...

with a response like that, who needs dems...?

Sorry Trump bears blame on this as well as Operation Warp Speed, that is his baggage. Acting like he did not do it will not make it go away. And do not forget his HHS Secretary authorized the Covid Bounties for hospitals and clinics that made things even worse.

“the nightly news would have blamed every reported Covid death on him”

The Mockingbird Mass Media driving the agenda is why the country is deep in the toilet right now.

There is no point in having elections if they are going to control the agenda anyway.

RFK Jr. blames President Trump for the lockdowns & says over 600 doctors wrote & signed a letter to him begging him not to allow them.

The note from the 600 doctors was on May 2nd. That's roughly 7 weeks after Trump's March 15th guidelines.

I’ve always said Kennedy would be the challenge to Trump.

He’s actually right - it was under Trump.

IIRC Trump also stopped inbound flights from certain countries and at first the Democrats were livid.

Sorry folks but hindsight is 20/20 any argument about what was going on in the early stages of covid-19. Nobody knew WTF was going on.

I had a significant amount of NBC training for years. I just sort of followed that training, I figured it for a biological attack. Worrying about it or stressing about it didn’t make sense.

That being said, I doubt he can win the Dem nomination... they heart Fauci.

He should have run as a Republican - they don’t hate him so much.

To some degree he is right, in the beginning, but very quickly Trump said we have to open up.

Trump tweeted on March 22, (That's six weeks before the belated letter from the 600 doctors) the following....

Trump wound up recommending following the guidelines through April if I remember correctly. After that some of the governors started to open up.
