Cash App founder Bob Lee's killing in crime-ridden San Francisco neighborhood was at least the TWELFTH murder there this year, police union says

San Francisco Police Officers Association's vice president, Lt. Tracy McCray, has said the neighborhood where Cash App founder Bob Lee was murdered has already witnessed at least 12 homicides this year alone.

The city's Southern and Tenderloin Districts which have experienced rising crime rates this year have seen four stabbing incidents in the last week alone, including Lee's.

McCray says the police force is understaffed and the entire neighborhood is now at a tipping point.

'We are short staffed so just our presence in patrolling is severely lacking right now. To see a certain uptick in crime is to be expected but I think we are now at a precipice where we could go one way or the other,' McCray said.

Lee, 43, was stabbed several times in the chest as he walked in the city's Rincon Hill neighborhood at 2:35am, which is located in the Southern District, close to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.

Lee was ignored by passersby, who did not help him as he bled out and collapsed to the ground.

Although the Rincon area, where Lee was killed, is generally quiet, residents and visitors alike have shared concern that they could easily become targets.

Some locals have noted how the area, which has multi-million dollar high-rise apartments, is where tech industry moguls, celebrities, and Golden State Warriors basketball team members have been known to live.

But downtown San Francisco has remained largely-deserted post-pandemic, and is n now famed for open drug abuse and violence, thanks to the progressive city's permissive policies.

The brutal killing in former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's staunchly Democrat electoral district has ignited concern over public safety and soaring homelessness in the city as a whole.

Knowing it’s a violent city, what the hell are you doing out on the street at 2:30 in the morning?

Step 1: Advocate for defunding the police
Step 2: Defund the police
Step 3: Disavow defunding the police
Step 4: Let chaos prevail until public demands action
Step 5: Install Marxist-led jackboots

Over time what we call police evolved from a force to keep royalty safe from harm to private paid forces to keep the people who paid them safe from harm. Then, in New York there were several private companies of uniformed police who sometimes rioted over the ability to collect taxes from neighborhoods to keep those neighborhoods safe. Then, after one particular riot the city gathered the private companies under their control and paid them from city collected taxes. Now we’ve arrived at the point where the city police protect only their pay and benefits and nothing else. We are headed back to private security companies who protect only the people paying them. Full circle.

The murder of white people by first disarming them through the creation of unconstitutional law is a feature of the democrat’s war against white people, not a bug.

I want to know why such a wealthy guy is out alone. I want to know why the doorman of the building he collapsed outside of didn’t come to the door.

Just what was he doing wandering around a half mile from his hotel at 2:30 AM? Was he looking for drugs or a gay hookup?

It only matters to the left when it’s one of their own elites getting sliced and diced. Otherwise, let them eat cake.

That is a false sense of security. Shoot some of the attackers, and calmly walk away. Leave their bodies to greet the morning sun.
