An 18-year-old has reportedly been arrested for breaking into NBA legend Michael Jordan's $15million mansion in Chicago.
The 60-year-old Jordan was not in the property at the time, according to TMZ, but the teenager was found inside the building after neighbors alerted the police in the afternoon of Tuesday, April 4.
The teenager has been named as Raiden Hagerdorn by local media and has been charged criminal trespass and two counts of criminal damage to property.
Jordan has not lived at the property since 2012. He has been trying to sell it for 13 years, initially putting it up for sale for $29million. TMZ says its latest value is just under $15m.
The property has nine bedrooms. 19 baths, an indoor basketball gymnasium, pool, tennis court and cigar room.

His mansion in Chicago was recently used for a video shot for the Travis Scott song 'Franchise'.
A mansion is not the only thing Jordan is trying to sell at the moment. His NBA team, the Charlotte Hornets, are also reportedly on the market.
He holds a majority stake in the team worth $1.7billion and is looking to sell after 13 years as owner of the franchise.

I honestly don’t know what someone would do with that size of a house. I went from living in a 2000sq ft home (which we both found to be too big), to a 275 sq ft RV. I now understand the tiny house phenomenon.
He should turn it into a BnB. How many people would like to stay for a period of time in MJs house?
“”The mechanical room was about the size of my entire basement just for HVAC and plumbing.””
I wonder if their Hamptons party guests will shun them for their consumption and turn down the caviar Hors d’oeuvres
I don’t know their politics but when Ghandi was in New York in the 1950s he followed a vegetarian diet that required what were rare and expensive foods at the time in NYC, one of his assistants who spent all day in taxis buying what was needed for Ghandi’s meals said something like ‘it has never cost so much to keep a humble man’s meals so simple’, or something along those lines.
Well said, agree. There’s video on YouTube that walks you through the property in great detail. It’s stupid big. More likely a lifestyle I wouldn’t need or understand- multiple kitchens, living rooms, etc.
For this Easter weekend I’m in Broken Bow, OK at a ‘cabin’ we rented. It’s several orders of magnitude smaller than Mr. Jordan’s sprawling Chicago estate.... but I’d rather live here.
That's a lot of toilets to clean
He has been behind the curve for 13 years. This last election for mayor will also hurt the value. Knock of $1 million or $500,000 every month until it sells. Chicago probably is headed toward Detroit where some homes can’t be sold for $1.
I could never figure out why anyone would want to live in a huge place like that.
I just want the cigar room. Put a cot in there.
Why wouldn’t he want to spend time there. 🤔😂👍. Probably the same reason the o’bamskis aren’t ever there.
Obama owns a mansion in Chicago (well, one of his 4 is in the city, in a neighborhood called Kenwood); MJ does not - his mansion in a ritzy North Shore neighborhood called Highland Park. Big difference - you can walk through Highland Park without getting shot - well, most of the time - there was that incident a couple of years back.
But basically the newspaper headline was a load of manure so far as the location goes - it’s tough to find a nice area within the city limits (even Obama’s Kenwood is bordered by trashy neighborhoods); Highland Park is pretty much a really nice area, at least if you don’t mind being surrounded by rich if braindead libs.
From the air it looks like an industrial facility....not a “home”.
How about putting the Obama library there?
