I believe it is a myth that violent crimes have dropped in San Francisco and California (despite the Dem politicians claim). The D.A.’s just don’t charge the culprits (thus the phantom drop in crime).
They can’t play that game with the murders - which is why they have to report a rise in the murder rate.

Neighbors of UNARMED former San Francisco Fire Commissioner Don Carmignani said “no one is safe” in the city after he was brutally attacked by a transient with a metal crowbar just steps away from his family’s front door.

Nobody can get a permit to carry, so it’s open season on law-abiding citizens. Time for the citizenry bring a civil suit, under 42 USC. 1983, which is titled “Civil Action for Deprivation of Rights” (2nd amendment right) which reads:
