I see this as a WIN/WIN/WIN/WIN situation. The WSJ reporter is freed after over a week of imprisonment, Julian Assange is freed after a total of 11 years of imprisonment after being a refugee since 2012 in the Bolivian embassy in London and since 2019 in a British prison. Putin gets a chance to improve his prestige in the world by suggesting this deal which would give him room to offer to negotiate peace with Ukraine to end a war that could lead to WWIII and the end of human civilization. So, yeah, I see this as a WIN/WIN/WIN/WIN/WIN. However, as Barack Obama said, "never underestimate Joe Biden's ability to f**k things up."

They should just drop the charges against Assange period.

Agree on the exchange, but it has to include Assange making it to a safe country, like Russia or India, as the charges, of course, could immediately be reinstated, which, of course, the Neocons would do without skipping a beat, giving their never-ending lying.

Julian Assange is not a womyn’s basketball player, so he is not an asset to the US. So, no.

If over the last two years Biden has not dropped Assange’s charges, he is not going to do it now.

Ain’t gonna happen even though I would be in favor of it.

Hillary and the neocons would never allow it. But Putin should make the offer anyway just to embarrass them.

They are not going to drop the charges against Julian Assange... Why? Because what he will release it information on the scale of “ Michelle Obama is a Man” Barrack and Mike will destroy the world before they let the truth of who they are come out... and... they have even more damaging info on people who killed and had sex with children... (Just my theory) The US is being run on a global extortion scheme right now and yes... Barrack and Mike are so evil they will blow up the world before they come clean (just a theory)

I wouldn’t trust the U.S government to hold to the deal. They would find something “unrelated” to charge him with.

No. This would be a quid pro quo, which is how they seek to do business.

Putin does not want a negotiated peace with Ukraine.
The globalist are pushing for WWIII.
To: PJ-Comix
There’s absolutely NOTHING the USA would ever trade to free someone who could rat out the Clintons, Obama, etc...
They will launch WWIII before they release Assange.

Assange wasn’t in the Bolivian embassy. Wasn’t it Equador?

Why would Russia want charges dropped against Assange?
To: PJ-Comix
Trump not pardoning Assange was a stain on his presidency.
Now we're expecting Biden to do it?

Kinda asinine in my opinion. What is Russia’s incentive ?
Would be very much better to allow the deepstate whistleblower patriot Edward Snowden a clear airing (PDJT should absolutely have pardoned given the nature of the crimes by the US federal government which his charges are and were designed to cover up!)
