Today on the Matt Walsh Show it has been a wokeness bonanza this week in the corporate world as Bud Light, Nike, Jack Daniels, and Build-a-Bear all come out endorsing drag queens and transgenderism. But why are all of these companies going woke? And what can we realistically do about it? I have a plan and I'll lay it out for you today. Also, the White House refuses to endorse any age limits at all for gender surgeries for children. They say it's up to the child to choose. NPR gets devoured from within by its own left wing employees. And the classic American novel "Gone With The Wind" will now come with a lengthy essay condemning the book for its racism.

I’ve also noticed a narrative bubbling in the “media” lately that is “anti-alcohol”.
Interesting.
So, we’re going to get Prohibition again, in addition to 1929?
“It is so very hard for me to wrap my head around how this nation succumbed to this moral depravity in the span of about one generation.”
Actually it is pretty easy and the collapse is right on schedule, look at the worthless do-nothing GOPe members in congress...all they did was SPEND SPEND SPEND in addition to other worthless efforts. Look at the amazing turnout after the KenyanKare fiasco and the GOPe did nothing and they were tossed out as a result. The GOPe did nothing with Trump when they had the chance and were tossed out again. And last year was tepid at best and a disappointment, why? Because they did nothing.
This country is a wreck because of the RINOs, the dems/left would be easy to beat if we had a functioning GOP but we don’t. Here in MI we lost both the state house and the state senate for the first time in decades, why is this? Conservatives (or leaning to) are sick and tired of voting for the lesser of evils - all it is the uniparty who hides under the cloak of redistribution of wealth, bribes and money laundering. Some are arguing for a third party, I’d agree but we need a second party first.
If you really think Alinsky strategy is the way to go, which Walsh seems to suggest, by isolating a target , then why not go after the corporate board members? Likely to begin with there is just one or a few that make the rest of them shut down , not wanting to look unwoke. During the Iraq war , there were packs of cards that had the 52 highest ranking Iraqi officials. So, packs of cards with the woke board members, listing their affiliations, foibles and so forth. maybe
it ‘ll make them uncomfortable, which would be a good start.
That’s the gist I’m getting.
Progressives never change.
They seem obsessed with these century cycles.
Look at what just happened.
Pandemic, war, market crash.
George Dickel is owned by British beverage giant Diageo, and if you click on their webpage well, you guessed it, there's a tranny. And an ESG statement promoting diversity and inclusivity.
They've taken over everything.
Want whisky without social justice? Build yourself a still.
Old Granddad is owned by Jim Beam.
Jim Beam is owned by the Japanese company Beam-Suntory.
And yep, they've got a nice big 'ol "Commitment to Diversity" statement on their website as well.
But they love their pot :-)
I’ll agree with o-n-money upthread on Evan Williams. It’s tasty, smooth, a good mixer, and the price is definitely right.
What the....?
Guess I’ll switch back to water.
I like Evan Williams, particularly their "1783" whisky.
I see they're owned by Heaven Hill, a family-owned company in Kentucky. And while they had an "Environmental Sustainability" commitment on their website, I didn't see any inclusion or diversity pledges that I found on many of the others.
So, for now, I'll keep drinking it.
Interesting note (from wiki): "All of the Master Distillers at Heaven Hill since its founding have been members of the Beam family. The original Master Distiller was Joseph L. Beam, Jim Beam's first cousin. He was followed by his son, Harry, who was followed by Earl Beam, the son of Jim Beam's brother, Park. Earl Beam was succeeded by the current Master Distillers, Parker Beam and his son, Craig Beam."
See my post above.
Evan Williams definitely works. I wish I could distill my own, but that ain’t legal and I barely have time to brew beer and make wine.
Yep.
Which is where the replacement revenue will come from.
BTW. Through this whole trans debate in sports? What ever happened to the “doping scandals”?
Well put. New day, new plans.
Maybe in the "media," but they're all pretty much notorious wusses. On the shelves, more and more beverages are being branded as "spiked."
The Masters on my mind, I'm a big fan of "Arnold Palmer Spiked" in the clubhouse or on the patio on a hot summer night.
Thanks for the info. It’s a good, economical brand, and I hope it stays that way.
I’ve been wondering for a long time why companies don’t just issue a blanket statement saying, “We don’t get involved in politics, we make cars (or whiskey, or beer, or whatever).” Seems like that would save them a lot of grief, and 99% of their customers would appreciate it.
F him!
And I ain’t giving up my KitchenAid Pro 600 stand mixer!
I like that idea. Officials at every level hide behind their Departments, Boards, etc. The media covers by reporting, “The DOJ announced today” or “The FBI said today.” It’s time we had the NAMES of the people making these decisions. Without the names, how do we know these people aren’t making $$$ off these decisions, or working for shadowy third-parties with a vested interest? We don’t. And we need to. We pay these people’s exhorbitant salaries, after all.
