I think Ron De Santis might be a great candidate for President.
Note: I did not say anything about President Trump but I am already hiding under my desk to protect myself against the hail of slings and arrows one can expect just for saying a simple positive statement about Ron De Santis.
BTW: I still hope President Trump regains the Presidency because he did a great job for the most part and now, he has to be able to complete what he started knowing now that he can’t trust a single one of the “old Washington D.C. guard”, that he must go beast mode on destroying the deep state. I expect his appointments to be a lot better a second time around and his use of Presidential firing power far more rigorous.

If the rats find a way to nominate Newsom then DeSantis would be a better counter. 2 big state young governors leading them in different directions. I just think DeSantis is speaking in Pennsylvania for a reason. He’d be more likely to win that state than Trump who lost it. Same with Ga.
Unfortunately we still have unfinished business within the party and we need Trump to lead the house cleaning. That includes voter integrity issues that’s been going on for 3 cycles + bad hiring choices. Can we put him back on top? Ballot harvesting is something we’re not good at.
Agree. It’s hard for me to imagine a scenario where we exchange Trump for an unknown commodity at this point.
Out here in Washington state, on FOXNEWS, we’re getting a lot of anti-DeSantis ads sponsored by the Trump campaign.
Next time, Trump won’t bother with a Vice President, or a Chief of Staff, or a cabinet, since they all turn out to be stupid.
Instead, Trump will be his own Vice President, Chief of Staff, and Cabinet!!!
Plus, as vacancies open up on the Supreme Court, he nominate himself until he is a majority. What’s really neat about this is that he won’t be term limited and could rule until he decides it’s time to turn the country over to Donnie.
‘All the Presidents Men’ is a well directed, well produced, well acted suspense flick. The writing is good, but it focuses on Nixon as the bad guy, as if what his staffers did was so bad it could never be repeated. As if politicians succeeding since they time are pure, US loving, lawful, popular

There is one takeaway from that film that gets repeated to this day which people could really use in this case of DeSantis, that people inexplicably ignore. My theory as to why is that the are infatuated.

I’m trying to keep emotions out of it. So for me it boils down to a rough formula:
MAGA score x electability score.
Trump has a high MAGA score (of course). But I give the edge to DeSantis on electability. So for now I’m just waiting and watching.
Now I’m going to get emotional. Can’t help it. Trump’s indictment has me angry and upset. So Trump gets a few more points for being a target of bullies.
It is ‘we the people’ who will back the next President, not “He has more backing than Trump did.” I don’t give a rats ass who thinks they can “back” Trump. I have one vote, and I can contribute a little, and that is it. Don’t care about the power brokers who think they are ‘Kingmakers’.
