Well, LBJ succeeded JFK, who, according to many people actually won because of fraud in the Chicago area.
Many claim that Nixon should have been the President 8 years earlier.
Of course JFK stole the election from Nixon in 1960 too.
Any close election will be stolen by the Democrat. Take it to the bank. They don't even try to hide it anymore.
Ballot Box 13 started the Johnson machine.
Democrats and vote fraud go together like fish and water.
I notice you mention Jimmy Carter. I was already thinking that it has been low down for Jimmy Carter to have spent so much effort to “ensure election integrity” in other countries yet never raise a concern or lift a finger to advocate for election integrity here. A useless democrat.
It did happen. George Parr, aka the Duke of Duval (County) had it done by agents in Jim Wells County.
BUT, I don't trust AP to present the truth about anything. Is this an attempt of smooth out coming revealing of mass voter fraud in the past 2 presidential elections?
That was exposed in a book about LBJ that came out in 1964, I read it a few years ago.
The “Lyndon Landslide”, as it has been known in Texas ever since it happened—
A little boy in South Texas was sitting on the curb crying his eyes out. One of his uncles came by and asked, “Juan, why are you crying?
“It’s my grandma!” he sobbed.
“But Juan, your grandma has been dead for years!”
“I know, but she came back alive yesterday to vote for Mr. Johnson and didn’t even come to visit me!”

“Many people” are dead wrong. That old canard has been around for too long.
JFK would have won anyway, even if Illinois electoral votes had gone to Nixon instead of Kennedy.
I read this one years ago that spells out the LBJ Steal: “A Texan Looks at Lyndon” —

no career politician was worse than LBJ. he paid for his many sins imo by being drummed out of office for his vietnam failure, but the worst thing that jawboning, ‘deal with the devil making’, corrupt politician did is to destroy the saluatory political influence of American churches with his Johnson Amendment, and to harness all church contributions under an implied threat to taking by the IRS.
he conceived it and wrote it (or cribbed it from the devil himself) but it was actually the GOPe who passed it in ‘54, with Ike, no less. the GOPe then passed it again in 2017 (by not repealing it) under Trump. twice they could have prevented this American tragedy and failed. yes the uniparty has been around for a long time.
This is not a surprise. There was a book in the 60’s called “A Texan Looks at Lyndon” that contained much the same content. And much more.
One of the fake votes for Johnson came from a ballot supposedly cast by the grandfather of William F. Buckley Jr., the famous conservative author and commentator. The senior Buckley had died forty-four years earlier, in 1904, but obviously he didn’t see that as a good reason to skip voting! When the younger Buckley heard about it, he remarked, “I am very proud of my grandfather’s sense of civic obligation. Clearly it runs in the family.”
Everyone told Nixon to fight the sham of an election. Nixon refused saying he didn’t want to hurt the country with the turmoil it would create.
Years ago I thought it was just about the election.
Now I’m thinking it could be because Nixon knew that LBJ played a part in killing Kennedy, and Nixon didn’t want THAT information brought to light in some big investigation into a stolen election.
LBJ was commonly referred to as “Landslide Lyndon” in Texas after he stole the 1948 election.
Yup
