Trump came in, pleaded not guilty, walked out, took no questions.
No handcuffs. No mugshot. No perp walk. All the optics from today’s event benefit Trump.
What do you think Libs? Did this satisfy your “get Trump” fetish?

The theory is that they know this will virtually insure Trump’s nomination, which is what they really want.

All 34 charges in the Trump indictment are “falsifying business records to conceal another crime.”
“To conceal another crime” is how Alvin Bragg was able to elevate it to a felony.
But nowhere in the indictment does it say what that second crime was.
What exactly could be the second crime they tried to conceal by Cohen paying hush money with his own funds to a porn star who now owes Trump thousands of dollars bc of losing lawsuits against him? If it’s campaign finance, remember that the FEC refused to go after Trump for it.
Also remember that the FEC has EXCLUSIVE jurisdiction over federal election campaign finance law. Trump, as a federal candidate, is not subject to NY State campaign finance law. He is subject to federal election campaign finance law over which the FEC has sole exclusive jurisdiction. FEC said nothing burger, so NY has to say the same. NY has no jurisdiction over federal campaign finance violations.
