“I have tried every statin on the market for cholesterol and they all made me sick. I refused more of those.”

I’ve gotten my cholesterol down into a good range with flush niacin. I have to use the kind that causes a “flush”, as the flush free type doesn’t have the same effect, not to mention it could cause liver damage.

I’ve been doing this pushing two years.

There’s a book on Niacin titled, “Niacin The Real Story” by Hoffer, Saul and Foster you should be able to find on Amazon and possibly other outlets.

I don’t mind the low doses but niacin in large doses still scares me. I have two bottles of the flush niacin lozenges that are 100mg each that I need to start taking but probably not every day. I have the genetic high LDL and so far, nothing has brought it down except for exercise and I can’t walk enough to help or do anything that puts pressure on this ankle. My triglycerides and HDL are both good. If I decide to go to CVS and have my cholesterol checked, I’ll take the flush niacin for a couple of weeks prior and see if any damage shows up in my blood work.

An ankle sprain that doctors are too stupid to fix is going to kill me.
