My doc said possibly use sports drinks

All natural "Gatorade":

Makes 2 quarts.

Instructions:

  1. Heat some of the water enough to dissolve the salt and the sugar. Just hot enough to make them dissolve. Let this cool until not hot to the touch.
  2. Mix juices in your storage container.
  3. Mix in the cooled sugar and salt mixture.
  4. Fill your container the remainder with water.
Note: If you are replacing electrolytes after a heavy sweat I recommend the full teaspoon and full cup of sugar option. Other wise half those.

Or just save the pickle juice in the pickle jar.
1/4 cup in a glass of water before bed.
I use 1/2 cup in in 1/2 liter of water for my work out.

YMMV, if you \don’t\ like pickles.
