World Athletics (WA) announced Thursday that athletes who have gone through male puberty would be barred from competing with biological females in world rankings competitions. “As more evidence becomes available, we will review our position,” said WA president Sebastian Coe in a statement, “but we believe the integrity of the female category in athletics is paramount.”

Great question - taking this position will make the trans-pushers double down on going after younger and younger “candidates”. The fact is, boys are boys, men are men, girls are girls, women are women. No actual changes are possible - only pretend ones.

I’ve been predicting a backlash all along, based on the fact that the trans movement harms the most powerful “victim group” of all, namely Women.
Although there are girls wanting to be boys, there are a hundred times as many boys wanting to be girls - all wanting to participate in and enjoy the hard won benefits of womanhood as a protected class.
Like it or not, Western society gives women a handicap in all things. Normal, decent men are raised never to harm a woman, but rather to protect them - even to let them win arguments and physical fights, and let them have their way.
Many men will deny this, and many women will be be insulted by the idea that they are the “fairer” sex - the “weaker” sex. But it is true.
Sure, there are ways in which females are stronger - but like it or not, there is a handicap system that favors women, and ultimately, women are not going to give it up, nor will they share it with men just because they claim to be women.

Yes, agreed. I’ve had a couple of big “lightbulb moments” since the arrival in my life of my two grandsons. They are very different from each other, but they are both real boys. That is to say they are crazy maniacs a lot of the time. And always seek to wear as little clothing as possible!
Watching them play in the yard, the younger one especially, he’s one of the most determined persons I’ve ever seen. And I realized, this attitude is what got us out of the caves.
And watching the older one play basketball. It’s just a recreational league, I guess the players are in the 8-10 range. And having watched the boys’ mom, who is my daughter, play basketball competativley for many years, the difference was obvious immediately. The boys play much faster and harder than the girls do. It really hit me then why people want to watch the NBA much more than the WNBA.
