DeSantis silent, Vivek speaks.

>> he’s not afraid to speak his mind. I like having this guy on our side
On that we agree.
>> Same as Trump, in my book
Of course you’d say that; you’re a NeverTrumper. You will gladly beat President Trump with whatever cudgel is at hand. It’s a disgusting display of vileness but I’ve grown accustomed to the behavior of NeverTrumpers here and it no longer surprises me.
But the facts say otherwise. President Trump is absolutely a Christian; what’s more, he has grown in his faith and Christian maturity in his time as President. No, he’s certainly not perfect. Neither am I. Are you?
Ron and Niki supporters are in good company with Biden’s 81 million voters. I have less respect for establishment Pugs than the pink pussy hat people.
Trump and Trumpers have been crapping on DeSantis and now they are butthurt because DeSantis isn’t around when they need him.
So amusing to watch.
Interesting point. If he’s inferring DeSantis is a groomer, then shy wouldn’t he lead the chants of lick him up.
If Trump can’t handle this on his own, he needs to retire.
Besides, look at what happened to the J6 protestors who went to Washington at Trump’s behest. Some are sitting in prison.
DeSantis has a responsibility as governor to make appropriate statements as things unfold, not make them t satisfy social media drama queens.
If NY State sends an extradition request, then he has the responsibility to make a decision and a public statement.
Well stated!
Trump regularly shoots himself in the nether regions with juvenile outbursts and insults. DeSantis doesn't and wisely avoided commenting on rumor and hearsay. Should Bragg not indict Trump on Tuesday, as I always suspected would happen, Trump could look even worse for wear. Trump's problem is self-control and discipline. DeSantis has it.
I wouldn't even use ROLLING STONE as a reliable source to obtain credible reviews on rock albums. They are such a propaganda tool of the Left.
If you are referring to the photo Trump re-Truthed of DeSantis appearing to "party" with high school girls, well that pretty weak gruel to make your point that Trump was trying to accuse DeSantis of being a "groomer pedophile."
Bad judgement? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Most red-blooded heterosexual men would not pass up an opportunity to be around beautiful women - who looked for the most part to be closer to 21 than 17. Most saw those photos as pretty harmless, including the girls that were in them.
For all DeSantis knows (or we know), Trump's claim that he will be arrested on Tuesday is hyperbolic nonsense.
I mean, no one even knows what charges will be filed against him.
And where is Trump? Florida?
DeSantis should just wait for something consequential to happen.
Honestly. Be gone. You people who spew this crap sound like lunatics. You don’t know because of the echo chamber here of people who sound just the same
I am glad Ron isn’t participating in the childish name calling. What a breath of fresh air.
Perhaps if the GOP was a party that stood for something, and was willing to fight for conservative principles, there would be more unity and support for it. The party is too feckless to bring about cohesion around a well defined vision.
The only thing the GOP is known for is appeasement. They are always ready to “compromise” with the other side of the isle. As we see all the time, its rarely the other way around.
Its the party’s own lack of direction and purpose that is the problem. The only reason people vote GOP is because the other party is worse.
Wouldn’t it be nice to vote FOR something?
I voted FOR Trump in 16 and 20 and will do it again with pleasure in 24!!!
Trump is too old for a second term.
However, if he becomes the obvious GOP nominee, I will vote for him again, and donate to him again, and I will vigorously support and defend him, just as I did in 2016 and 2020.
In 2020, Trump was the only Republican who could win a majority in the Electoral College.
In 2024, I do not think any Republican can be elected President, but Trump has the best chance to pull off an upset.
I have never trusted Trump on immigration issues.
If he wins in 2024, I think he will immediately support Immigration Reform - which will never be enforced - in exchange for what will eventually become a Blanket Amnesty.
I donated generously to Trump both times, and of course voted for him. Trump stands for things. And does things. In short, he’s not really a Republican. Like him or not, he’s a guy who wants what’s best for the country and is totally committed to doing achieving his goals.
100% agree.
I also agree with those who say there is no need to run to his defense when nothing has happened yet.
“In 2024, I do not think any Republican can be elected President”
*************
You may be right about that. This is not the same country it once was. Not by a long shot. There are still some pockets of sanity left but even those are eroding as the ills of socialism and big government dominance sweep over the country.
“I’ll say this about DeSantis’ character. He has scrupulously avoided responding to the unprovoked, absolutely gratuitous, and often juvenile attacks Trump has launched in recent months. Loyalty is a two-way street, you know. DeSantis isn’t even running yet, has not criticized Trump, yet he’s the bad guy for not running to a bully’s aid.”
I agree with you 100%. As far as I’m concerned, based on Trump’s and his supporters attacks on DeSantis, he can just let Trump sink .
