For forty-five years (1964 to 2009), the United States experienced significant progress in race relations. Thanks to the efforts of individual citizens in their communities throughout all regions of the country, this nation was well on its way to racial healing. In 2008 only 18% of Americans were greatly concerned or worried about the state of race relations in the country as nearly 70% thought that relations between Whites and Blacks were very or somewhat good.
In 2009, the most divisive and societally destructive president in American history, Barack Obama, came into office determined to reverse this trend by manipulating the Black citizenry into abandoning racial harmony by utilizing malicious demonization of the White population. He succeeded in fanning the dying embers of racism into a potential national conflagration.
Thanks to Obama and the media’s incessant drumbeat that so-called “white supremacy” is a major threat to minorities, in particular Blacks, a Washington Post poll in May of 2022 revealed that three quarters of Blacks are worried that they or someone they love will be attacked by a white person -- while the reality is that Blacks perpetrate the vast majority of interracial crime. And nearly as many, 70 percent, believe that half or more of all White people “hold white supremacist beliefs.”
A Rasmussen poll taken in February of 2023, exposed the inevitable and disturbing reality that only 54% of Blacks think it’s ok to be White. Race based hatred and discrimination now appears to pervade the bulk of the Black population. This same mindset is also pervasive within far too many of the nation’s private and government institutions.

The marxists have decided to stoke racial division and not just between whites and blacks.
I don’t expect this to work well as a real long-term strategy.
A lot of whites were brought up to be “tolerant” and to feel that they “owed something” to the under privileged. But as time goes on, I think we have more and more people who realize that white people are the true victims. The hate. The crime. The violence. White people are being taken advantage of, and what for?
My views on race have radically changed in the past few decades. True for many whites, I’m sure. You can’t keep pushing this strategy of “whites are bad”. The levee’s gonna break.

Their is a racism and bigotry problem and is resides mostly in the Black culture of today.
If there is any systematic racism it exists as a form of anti white programs and administrators/leaders within government and business who seek to confer elevated privileges to blacks and to willfully oppress whites and other select non-black races
All are created equal and all should be treated as such.
Obama singlehandedly wrecked the racial harmony this country had achieved.
Black folks judge each other probably as much or more than any other race judges them.....oddly enough believing lighter skinned blacks are somehow superior to he darker skinned.......I’ve heard it said with my own ears.

This is very common around the world. The darker the skin, the more inferior other blacks see that person. This is EVERYWHERE in the Caribbean.
Whites are still a majority in this country by numbers.
It’s not just because of Obama, the media itself has been in full cahoots with this agenda.
Race warfare is a potent proxy for the traditional class warfare. Deliberately generated by the left, beginning with the assassination of MLK.
Slavery: It’s been 158 years, get over it.
There will be no “race wars” because of spatial segregation. Whites and other races will just avoid blacks when they can.
Whites (non-Hispanic) are 57% of the population and falling.
And, let us not forget, the "Magic Negro" is STILL at work this very day... :(
Yep, back in the day I was for “Integration Now!”, now I’m with Scott Adams.
I think that MLK would not be as well received from the black community now if he were here with us.
They whole quality of character thing and not the melanin content would clash too much with the BLM movement and what is being peddled as reasons for reparations.
He appealed to equality and fairness, but that won’t hold a candle against unearned financial benefits in this day and age for the woke message of greed .
It's my experience that the deeply religious blacks judge the hedonist blacks, and rightly so. The loudest are the middle-aged blacks who were up to no good in their younger years but came to Jesus later. They call out the blacks for still "being alley". Some of the younger "alley blacks" listen to them and change their ways and become the hardest working volunteers at church. When the blacks who still have a foot in the world do their blame-the-whitey talk, I usually don't have to respond because the deeply Christian blacks step up and say the white man ain't what made you daddy not be here or whatever.
But the blacks I'm talking about aren't the ones you see on TV.
So... Scott Adams was right.
I know from personal experience that it goes back much further than 2009. Obama greatly increased it, but it was there before he showed up (where do you think his racism came from?).
