But for some reason, CNN seems to think that just because Burns has made films about stuff like baseball or Prohibition, he’s qualified to deliver competent analysis of modern American politics. Evidently they didn’t learn anything from the time they had him on and he and anchor John Berman drew parallels between Ron DeSantis sending migrants to Martha’s Vineyard and the freakin’ Holocaust, because he was back today on “CNN This Morning” with more parallels between Ron DeSantis and Nazi Germany, plus a few other things sprinkled in for good measure:

The liberals are lambasting Tucker Carlson for showing the January 6 videos he has. Among other things, they are saying he is selectively showing certain video from that day, to draw certain conclusions, etc.
WASN’T THAT EXACTLY WHAT THE JANUARY 6 COMMITTEE IN CONGRESS WAS DOING? They showed certain video, and excluded other video. They showed video to support their position that Trump is Hitler, Trump’s supporters were hell bent on overthrowing the government, etc.
It occurs to me, that to the liberals, it’s ok to show certain video from January 6, but other video which doesn’t support their conclusions should be censored and banned.
So much for transparency, which liberals sometimes say they support.
