Stacey Abrams Is Now 'Observing' Another Country's Election Operations?
The Hill ^ | 02/28/2023 | Spencer Brown

After losing back-to-back gubernatorial elections in Georgia, all the while whining about an alleged system of racist voter suppression that didn't exist, Stacey Abrams has surfaced in Nigeria. Apparently, she's there to oversee the African country's elections as "co-leader" of a joint international observer mission between the National Democratic Institute and International Republican Institute.

Remember, it was Stacey Abrams who denied her first gubernatorial loss to Governor Brian Kemp (snip)

She popped up in an interview with Al Jazeera, and said "despite a slow start" to voting, she and her fellow observers "have seen orderly lines, we have seen long lines." Abrams surmised that those orderly and long lines were "signaling strong enthusiasm" among voters because they are "willing to stand in line and have patience." Hm.

Notably, back here in the United States, Abrams has claimed that long lines of citizens waiting to vote was definitive proof of "voter suppression," as she did in here in 2019. "In the state of Georgia, black people faced hour-long lines — up to 4 hours — waiting to cast their ballots," Abrams said, alleging that those waiting in lines to participate in elections were "held hostage." In Abrams' retelling of events, lines on Election Day 2018 in Georgia were proof that "voter suppression is as old as America."

Well, what do the "long lines" of voters Abrams is observing in Nigeria say about their election system? Why is waiting to vote in America proof of a "hostage" situation and "voter suppression," but in Nigeria it's "signaling strong enthusiasm," as she said?

She can't have it both ways, but she's apparently going to try and keep the grift going for as long as possible. But perhaps next time a foreign country needs international observers, they should choose someone who isn't an election denier.

Observing, with a greasy bucket of chicken in her lap, I presume.

Nigerians are required to show voter ID & proof of citizenship; a concept Stacey Abrams is not familiar with.

This is another, prime example of when one of the liberal/Left/Progressive individuals gets in the club, even on the peripherary, they have jobs for life.

She’ll be able to go through the revolving doors of government and private/non-profit jobs for the rest of her days. And lets not forget that her sister is a federal judge in Atlanta, so she becomes valuable when certain cases are filed in federal court in Atlanta.

Kind of like all the retired Generals and SES folks that get to keep their TSSCI clearances after they retire. They aren’t given a Directorship on some corporate board for their good looks.

I pray that Donald Trump can somehow get elected in 2024. If so, there are dozens of “this is what he should do first” options. Of all of them, my first is: rescind the security clearances of EVERY retired military member that sits on a corporate board/executive team/etc, retired politician, retired SES, ALL OF THEM. Let them go to the various agencies and demonstrate a need for having one other than being on the board.

And then make it so they’re ineligible for 10 years...which is the amount of time that the SF86 goes back when someone applies for a security clearance and a demonstrated need is presented. IE....Mattis needs a TSSCI because we want him on our Board of Directors...NOPE and NOPE.

Ironically, Nigeria requires the voter to present a PVC (Permanent Voter Card) i.e photo ID, to vote. The Tank doesn’t have a problem with that.

Also, I wonder about the demographic makeup of those standing in long lines. Is there an appropriate representation of minorities? Hint, hint, nudge, nudge.

The DNC’s Rising Stack ‘O’ Pancakes is looking for a way to “win” an election. ROTFL! A “morbidly obese” black woman shouldn’t have this much trouble getting elected in the sensitive, white guilt-ridden, millennial and G Zeros America.

This is an opportunity. Get Nigeria to have rolling elections across the country. And, keep this whiny POS there forever. Don’t let her back until after every Nigerian says that she fixed every election — in last 20 years.

Ah yes, that bastion of democracy, Nigeria.

USA can obtain leaders the way they do. Right.
