The Constitution did not establish the Deep State. Instead, it creates a very slimmed-down government: A legislature, an executive office, and a judiciary. Given the British bureaucracy's corruption in the 18th century, the Founders wanted to avoid that situation in America. Now, though, 230 years later, we’ve exceeded the 18th-century British bureaucracy in size and scope and added ideological corruption, which is probably even worse than the financial greed the British showed. However, there is a way out of this situation, and Ron DeSantis made the case for it on Sunday when he appeared on Life, Liberty & Levin.
Early 20th-century progressives were the moving force behind the development of our administrative state. They thought the teeming masses were incapable of the self-governance our Founders envisioned. Indeed, their passion for eugenics arose from their belief that too many Americans—the brown, black, “swarthy,” and Jewish ones, as well as the “feeble-minded”—were corrupting American purity. The antidote, aside from eugenics, was a professional government managed by college-educated Anglo-Saxons.
And so was born a very specific type of bureaucracy, one in which the workers believed that they were not the voters’ servants, but their very superior managers.
Our modern progressives think the same, except that they shift the good and bad actors. Thus, in their view, too many Americans—the white and the ones bitterly clinging to the Bible, whether conservative Christians or Jews—are corrupting American purity. The antidote, aside from eugenics (which is implicit in their increasingly strident attacks on the vice inherent in “whiteness”), is a professional government managed by college-educated People of Color, LQBTQ++ representatives, and suitable woke and self-loathing white people (preferably women).

How long would it take a deep state judge to strike down any attempt?
“Ron DeSantis’s important point about ridding ourselves of the Deep State”
...and yet just about every major Deep State player in the GOP has supported DeSantis.
...and yet DeSantis has not disavowed any of them, starting with people like Jeb.
Promote #2 to be #1, then when he becomes #1 knock him off and put in who you really want. Go JEB!
It's a strategy to take down Trump with they only guy within 30 points of taking down Trump.
“Promote #2 to be #1, then when he becomes #1 knock him off and put in who you really want. Go JEB!”
I know, it reeks!
It’s like waking up and finding that that wisdom of the party faithful put Biden at the top of the ticket.
You are not supposed to mention any of that.
“You are not supposed to mention any of that.”
Whoops. Sorry Ukraine Cheerleaders, that one slipped, since I’m not supposed to mention who’s lining up behind DeSantis.
The Constitition didn’t do anything to control or prohibit it,
/\
They did, however, provide an
” pull in case of tyrants infiltrating federal government office”
lever.

Convention of the States
.
The Deep State was created after World War II when a bunch of alphabet “national security” agencies were created.
By the time Eisenhower left office he knew they were out of control and discussed it in his famous military industrial complex speech.
That speech was proven correct less than three years later when the Deep State assassinated a sitting president—and covered it up with Operation Mockingbird keeping the American public (including many Freepers) duped even many decades later.
At this point the Deep State zombie cannot die until the host does.
No politician is going to fix that.
The link to the Eisenhower speech—imho the most important political speech ever made:

Another speech lost in history—JFK knew who his real enemies were:

From the JFK speech—this should sound very familiar:
“It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.
Its preparations are concealed, not published.
Its mistakes are buried, not headlined.
Its dissenters are silenced, not praised.
No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed.”
