I don’t think the Demonrat mayor of El Paso can overlook this invasion.
He hasn’t enough buses lined up to ship them out.
I’m glad i don’t live there now!
The crime was horrible when I was there, 40 years ago. But it wasn’t to be spoken of. I’m sure it’s worse now. Houses 40 years ago had bars on all windows and doors.

I remember that. It was strange seeing bars on EVERY house’s windows.
Weird….about 6 years ago, you rarely saw bars on the windows, of houses in EP. It’s like they all came down. People felt safer, abd, protected.
Now, friends have said people are scrambling to get those bars back up.
I told them….This would be a GREAT time for a Miss Ne, Yet? Trump billboard right at I-10 and Copia….Mesa….Hawkins….etc.
“ They came crashing down in the street, one by one, and the people cheered. I hope this becomes commonplace.”
That’s wonderful. Sometimes people don’t believe it until they live it. But if they try transporting people from rural areas, because the water or air is contaminated, it’ll be no different then making all the Jews leave their homes to go live in the ghettos. Ghetto will take on another meaning, just like it did in the 40s
I know what that picture is all about. As parents most love and take care of their children and guide them until they become adults. As parents become old people, children don’t want to care for them and haul them off to nursing homes.
Hi, Spunky! Great to hear from you!!
Yes....that pic is heartbreaking.
We took in several of our elderly relatives....and, even hired help, in the end, if it was needed.
Mom said it’s just the way it SHOULD be. She was right.
Most kids, today, have no time, nor, inclination to take in their parents, who raised them, provided so much for them, it seems. Our kids say they certainly will...but, I told hubby we best have a Plan B :- /
I always get the creeps when I see those “A Place for Mom” ads. Although, I don’t see them as much, anymore, as I used to.
Great looking dinner there lysie, thanks.
Spunkster, How are you dear girl?
We surely miss you!!!
See you later!
Hope you have a great time!
Hope you neighbor is ok.
This is for you Cotton.

lots of cultures would have 3 generations in the same living area, gran parents would take care of the kids, kids would help with the gran parents later. Saw that in Japan in early 70’s, in hispanic and arab countries etc. But when you get affluent things change, the more you make the more you seem to spend.
Just got home to find the regime has been stupid again.
The U.S. banking system remains resilient and on a solid foundation, in large part due to reforms that were made after the financial crisis that ensured better safeguards for the banking industry. Those reforms combined with today’s actions demonstrate our commitment to take the necessary steps to ensure that depositors’ savings remain safe.
Translation: the Fed’s hiking cycle is dead and buried, and here comes the next round of massive liquidity injections. It also means that the Fed, Treasury and FDIC have just experienced the most devastating humiliation in recent history - just 4 days ago Powell was telling Congress he could hike 50bps and here we are now using taxpayer funds to bail out banks that have collapsed because they couldn’t even handle 4.75% and somehow the Fed has no idea!
To summarize:
Signature Bank has been closed
All depositors of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank will be fully protected
Shareholders and certain unsecured debtholders will not be protected
New Fed 13(3) facility announced with $25 billion from ESF to backstop bank deposits
As we said earlier on twitter, “this is a regulatory failure of historic proportions by both the Fed and Treasury. Instead of preventing billions in losses, the Fed was worrying about board diversity and Yellen was flying to Ukraine. Everyone should be sacked immediately.”
Inflation will be back!
Slow to Move Abbott once again!
Does it take National News ,for You to Respond!!
Come on Gov! Get Our Borders Under Control!
What a mess.
Bull market, here we come?
That Bea Ess statement reads like it was written as a script for some dystopian movie. I can just hear a creepy/syrupy voice saying it.

If First Bank of Midland Texas Oil and Gas failed, you can be sure Biden would not be helping bail them out.
This bailout is 100% about protecting the donor base of the Democrats and ensuring if you invest in DEI and ESG you’ll be just fine!
They got caught. They’re trying to lie their way outta this whopper.
