The Trans Atlantic, West-to-East, Crewed. sailing record was set on Sunday 2 August 2009, by the Banque Populaire V. She established the new record of 3 days, 15 hours, 25 minutes and 48 seconds with an average speed of 32.94 knots (37.91 mph).

I hadn’t caught that, I’ll have to re-read it. I know initially the sensors didn’t send a warning because the temperature hadn’t hit the warning threshold. By the time they did know anything was wrong it was too late.

The whole things stinks.
