Kraus’ daughter Virginia Guinan said in a deposition that he was asleep when she dropped by that day and she didn’t want to wake him because he was in ill health and also upset that his dog had died.
Alerted about the bloodbath later, Guinan rushed back to his home, where she saw paramedics performing CPR on her dad as he lay in a pool of blood.
A trail led to the chicken house, where she saw one of the birds with blood on its claws and suspected it was the same one that had been sent to live on the farm after it had earlier attacked Kraus granddaughter.
Corey O’Keeffe, a tenant at the home, said he heard Kraus screaming during the attack and saw blood spurting from the man’s leg, as well as a large wound on his calf.

“Let’s don’t jump to conclusions, the rooster might have been framed by the hens.”
What does this have to do with The View?
Man Eating Chicken on the Loose
If you think the Irish chicken is tough, don’t try the veal
I think the daughter did it and she’s framing the chicken
For the record, the first picture in the article is not a chicken on his shoulder, it’s an owl....
Lol. I was actually thinking that. They need to look at the daughter a bit closer.
And so it begins...
I’ve been attacked and almost blinded by a rooster - had a hole in my scalp and pain and difficulty walking for days from his powerful peck on my knee. When they rear their heads back and stab you, it’s a lot more powerful than you’d think.
Hens are generally sweet. Roosters are mean MF-ers.
“Twigged”
____________
Hadn’t heard that used before. I’ll be confusing everyone around here by using it now. When they ask what I mean, I’ll act surprised they didn’t know the word’s meaning…then let on I just learned it too.
This guy needs to be made an honorary citizen of Florida.
How about "Ghost Chickens in the Sky"?

That’s what my Grandpa did after a Rooster attacked my Aunt. She was screaming and running and that damned rooster was just stuck on her back pecking her. GPa came running and grabbed it and wrung it’s neck in about 2 seconds. We fried him.
Could have been a rabid fox.
The blood on the rooster might have can off the fox when the fox went for the chickens after killing the guy.
Amish rooster?
“It would have been dinner that very night if it were mine....................”
My Granny would have wrung that suckers neck.
My kids used to raise chickens for 4 H One year they got a Giant Jersey I think it was called. The damn thing turned out to be a rooster and grew to be about 3 ft high. If I was in the roosting area and turned my back he would attack and hit my thighs with his talons, it hurt like hell! He did it one time too many and ended up as supper that day.
I get all that, but was he vaccinated?
