SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A family said they were attacked after getting caught up in the middle of a sideshow on their way home in Sacramento and video shared on social media shows some of the scary moments.
"We definitely all were fearing for our lives. I could hear it in my kids’ voices," Amanda Hensley said.

New phenom where assclowns take over/block off an intersection and do doughnuts in their cars. Usually hundreds of punks show up. Had one recently in downtown Reno.
Got some of this going on where I am but the cops are cracking down......too many idiots think they’re Vin Deisel.
I’ll tell ya what would stop it cold.....when these morons get caught, impound those stupid ass cars and CRUSH ‘EM.

I always thought a sideshow was a circus or carnival act and that doughnuts were sweet pastries.
“Sideshow”?! Jugglers and mimes annoyed they were interrupted?
Not for nothin but they said 12:30 in the morning?! Did they mean afternoon? What 10 year old is at a birthday party in the middle of the night?
I read the article twice and couldn’t figure out what it was about. The only ‘facts’ presented were that the people in the car were ‘attacked’, and the car was damaged. What story was Lysee trying to report?

It’s late for sure but was the party for the twins close to home or out of town at relatives?
Why was the “father” out of the car - badly written article? He wasn’t referred to as “my husband” by the woman.
Why did the kids get out of the car and run? Run into more danger and away from two adult parents?

To those who complain about children being in a car with their parents after midnight: sheesh! Have you never traveled with children—maybe the celebration was at a grandmother’s house?
Have you never gone nearby with your children and let them fall asleep while you and the other parents kept talking and then driven home?
There are a million legitimate reasons for children to be in a car with their parents at all hours of the night. It’s not like they are running the streets alone without their parents!
