A lot of it is personality. Not too long ago, there was a book on how black women should marry Jewish men.
“Why Every Black Woman Should Marry a Jewish Man: A Book For All Women Looking For the Perfect “Alpha” Male”
The flip side of the book, unsaid, was that black men are poor matches for black women, and Jewish women are poor matches for Jewish men.
So what about the goals of black men and Jewish women that makes them poor matches for their obvious couples? Speculation would just create anguished cries from both, so it is just better to say they are “not compatible”, and so are far less likely to lead to happy marriages.
Black women are getting hired at salaries higher than white women with comparable backgrounds, at colleges and in the general job market.
Check out one of the experts quoted in the article. “Celeste Curington is an intersectional scholar with diverse research interests on the African Diaspora in the United States and Europe and other communities of color.” Her salary is probably higher than any white male hired.
When I think black women, my all-time number is Marilyn McCoo of the Fifth Dimension, I remember having the biggest schoolboy crush on her.
I remember reading about a psychologist who specialized in patients who had become partners in large law firms. They were often depressed because they had set aside 10 or more years of their lives (3 in law school, 7-10 at the law firm) making partner and figured that once they got that extremely well-paying status at the age of 35 or older, they could choose their mate from among the law partners, surgeons and other very successful men. They didn’t realize that these guys preferred the 20 year old receptionist in a miniskirt as their wife, not a 35 year old on the same plane as them. This works differently with professional women - most I have known have no interest in marrying a construction guy, skilled tradesman, or trucking co. owner which means that they will be very unlikely to find anyone. As with women of all races, there are far more black females in college and professional schools than black males, just as women overall now constitute a large majority of the incoming classes of liberal arts colleges and professional schools.
The dating marketplace is brutal. The survival of the fittest.
Maybe because so many of them are “educated” but not intelligent. Also, many have a chip on their shoulder and think (much as all liberals) that a college degree entitles them to a high-paying job that involves very little effort on their part. Just a thought.
After Black women have become enraged and radicalized by university CRT, feminism and identity politics they are basically un date able.
Because you’re just looking for help paying off your student loans for your worthless degree in an imaginary subject.

It’s not that way for women of other races, either, sweetie. If a young lady happens to interest a guy while she was in college, then she got lucky. It’s not why she went to said institution either.
As I understand the article, Black women don’t date Asian men because of Black women’s “bias and stereotypes.”

The clear implication here is that police are killing enough young black men that it has a material impact on mortality statistics. That has to be one of the libelous statements I’ve ever read. The actual numbers are approximately 225 black men killed by police per year (not all “police brutality” of course) and based on population I calculate roughly 250K black males die per year of all causes (20M black men with average lifespan of guessing 75 years). So 225 of 250K. What an outrageous statement.
My theory is that modestly, um, endowed gents of any persuasion like to match down a size demographically.
Works well for black and white men, with some of their known preferences, but doesn’t leave nearly a match if the Asian men are left having to scale up two sizes.
Actually I did know a couple that was engaged in their senior year of college. Luckily they didn’t get married. They had gotten into an argument about something and she threw the ring at him (before graduation).
After graduation, his career did not take off as well as he had hoped - I don’t know if the argument had anything to do with his future career or not, but it was good they didn’t get married.
There are White men on TV, but they are all homosexuals.
I’ve known one high-quality black woman. MS in Accounting. Happily married to a black man with 3 well behaved kids. Beautiful, smart and nice as could be. She and her husband both sincere Christians.

“Their own kind” not necessarily a matter of race.
One of my neighbors is a Black man who is busily organizing Bible classes at our senior apartment complex. He’s the only Black guy here. His girlfriend lives across town, a very nice White woman who runs an organization that helps women released from jail adjust to society and make a go of it. They’re both “my kind” of people.
Hmmmm.....
