Thanks for the new thread!
Just got back last night from from attending our oldest grandson’s basic graduation at Lackland. Drove straight from San Antonio yesterday all the way back home. Wednesday it was in the 30s, windy and rainy and we sat on metal bleachers. Haven’t been that cold for such a prolonged period of time EVER.
But glad we got to go - kept up with tbe thread as I usually do, by lurking 🙂
Hope everyone is well - turning in now. 😴
You must be proud of grandson. BRRR
BRRRRR!!
Congrats to your grandson!
We sat on bleachers to watch the christening of the
USS Bainbridge (DDG-96) in November of 2005.
The wind was blasting off the Kennebec River that day.
It was FRIGID!
Inside, after the ceremony, they had hugs vats of clam chowder, and we all descended on that as would crows on to carrion!
LOL
Congratulations to your grandson!! Be sure and take extra care of yourself. Being cold is miserable. If you don’t gave any, get some Warrior Organic immune system by Khroma. Available on Amazon. Great stuff. If I’m feeling run down I’ll take it for a week.
Congratulations on a patriotic grandson
