(CNN) — News that the Pentagon is monitoring a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon in the skies over the continental United States raises a series of questions — not least among them, what exactly it might be doing.
US officials have said the flight path of the balloon, first spotted over Montana on Thursday, could potentially take it over a “number of sensitive sites” and say they are taking steps to “protect against foreign intelligence collection.”

From a senior US Government official not allowed to speak publicly on the issue:
“We put some things on station in the event that a decision was made to bring this down while it was over Montana,” the official said. “We wanted to make sure…to empty out the airspace around that potential area. But even with those protective measures taken—and it was the judgment of our military commanders—that didn’t drive the risk down low enough, so we didn’t take the shot.”

Trial balloon. Attempting to hack into guidance systems of ICBMs. Not shooting it down is either treason or the military wants to assess CCP capabilities.
It is China’s contribution to study climate change, you know monitor CO2 and cow farts at a constant high altitude. Also pointing out to the Biden administration locaction of all the gas stoves.
Critical infrastructure goods being produced abroad should be deemed a national security hazard, and we should immediately begin creating certain products here in the US.
Remove all hurdles and give incentives for production.

China or Russia would have shot it down and ended the mission. Here in the US the WH ponders what to do, how can this help or hurt someone politically, talk about it for months, allow it to gather information and then go on talk shows and make up BS what they wanted to do but could not convince others, etc. China and Russia have already defeated this cuttent WH because of weakness.
1) How do we know it's Chinese? Maybe it's extraterrestrial? Seems like that subject pops up quite often in the psyops scheme?
2) Where did it come from? A balloon that big doesn't just happen to be there?
3) Why not snag it, pull it down, and analyze what it is?
4) Who are the geniuses running this show anyway?
Since the CCP has already infiltrated the U.S. government at the very highest levels, why would they need to pull a stupid stunt like this? How do we even know who it was who actually launched it anyway? It could have been anyone, balloons are not high tech. I call this third-party provocation by an unknown entity figuring on getting some kind of advantage out of provocation.
